or get ISO from here, install, (needs the generic install key) once installed, activate with your own legit 8 key. Go to windows updates and download all, after restart you will have the same .

A few people have experienced this problem, could be an overloaded server, try again in a while from scratch and then try another key.

I tested it 5 different times last night and had no problems.

Look into your ""c:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebSetup\Panther\setupact.log" if you find Error: 0x803d0013 therein it means that the key is not synchronized anymore with the server, most probably due to overuse. Thus it won't let you download. Genuine not used keys do not fail.

choose install by creating media, then you are given a choice of usb flash drive or ISO, it then prepares your files.

I personally use Img Burn for burning bootable ISO's.

It is retail version

I tried to slipstream them 3 rollup files into the Retail version and it didn't work. After I installed 8.1 the Windows Update had them 3 files for download. Don't know why it didn't work.

Hi can we just have the Update Rollup 1 and not the whole Windows 8.1 MSDN RTM DVD.

O.K. just checked updated history, M$ had already pushed UR1 to the system.
