pekahman Posted October 7, 2011 Author Share Posted October 7, 2011 @ dehshaun,Yes retested right now and i have the same issue, maybe a bug with the Acronis server, or they have blocked the code generated by this serial.For all people they have actived sucessfully keep previously your license ,with this you can always reactived Acronis in case of reinstall in the same computer for example. aurics Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 I've tried as well but this serial is rejected, the server doesn't respond when you try to generate offline activation code...i found 2 different serials which work, but it says then "this serial is used on another account" and it doesn't allow to transfer it to new oneit asks for the user name and password of the original account holder of this valid key to allow you key transferring...so it seems new method is needed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Whew...Give it some time...if nothing else the scene will probably keygen it directly or thru the 'other computer' activation. Can someone say, if I back up my whole drive ( with 3 partitions including sys partiions) will i need to create partions manually when recovering or would acronis parition the HDD by itself as it was when i made the image? If you would have tried to see what's happening yesterday, even if you would have backed up a whole 1 TB HDD, it would still be done and already restored to a test location.And yes, if you back up a whole disk, when you restore it you don't need to pre-partition the target, ATI would do everything that is needed by itself. Launched it yesterday and at the bottom of the home page it said trial expired and had an option to enter a new key. Not sure what is up...Acronis has been blocked from the net ever since installation! I stepped back to 2011 version no problem. This time I'll block Acronis with the firewall AND hosts file. Anyone know the likely urls to add to the hosts file by chance? I still have the key from 'the method' so s long as it never makes it back online all will be good....I think I know how it may have gotten thru...I tried the free N360 5 from my isp and before I had a chance to set the firewall to manual, maybe acronis slipped thru as a trusted app. <_< Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then when I launched it, It kept me trapped at the 3 choice wizard home page saying all functions have been disabled and at the bottom it says trial expired (all wizard choices grayed out)...but if I mouse over one of the grayed wizard buttons, the msg at the bottom briefly changes to saying it's been 'activated'...but as soon as I move the mouse more the msg goes back to trial expired msg with new key option. 'About' was never accessible. Like I said...it was my fault when I tried N360...I let it slip thru and phone home. When I reinstall soon, it'll be fine since I still have the key and I will NOT let it slip by me again..lol. Both FW and hosts file are gonna be set for it. Or I may find someone who'll let me use their 'method' key to activate since it wouldn't be risking anything because everything after you get the key is all offline anyway...unless you screw up like me that is. lmao Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vfusion Posted November 27, 2011 Share Posted November 27, 2011 Maxhedroom & pekahman,I reactivated ATIH 2012 (FULL Version = Activated) 1 month ago with the same 'Method' and upgraded recently to the latest, Build 6131, including Plus Pack.
