More simply, use Zenmate choose your location Germany or Switzerland

You need to fill in the following mandatory fields

Should be a German, Swiss or Austrian City with corresponding postal code:

(Google German, Switzerland or Austria postal codes / Wikipedia will have a list of cities with postal codes)
Obviously you must pick the corresponding Country from the Drop down and Hit "Aktivierungscode anfordern"
Give it a little time and you will be redirected to a page with the activation code.

1. Install Eset SS 8.xx as trial
2. Restart the computer in safe mode
3. Double click on the .reg file
4. Restart the computer in normal mode
5. Activate with username and password

[Convert UserName & Password to Product Key eg: TWA2-22R4-N9X6-MPU6-xxxx [20 Digits]

Notes: Promo Keys aren't Universal means [EAV should convert / Just for EEA, ESS Just for EES]

PS: Another way but i'ts bit hard to setting Go to EEA Advanced settings >>> Update Tab >> Basic >>> Use Mirror

Update >>> Enter Username & Password, you should switch first Profile not Automatic >> switch to Mirror Servers

hi guys this thread is getting very confusing same as Kasperskys thread there are so many crack/activators/keys around and i cant tell whats working and whats not

for example people say that the box/mara fix 1.7 works others say it doesnt and the 1.8 works and again others say it doesn't and now there is a 1.9 beta which i cant see a link for anywhere (if some body can provide me a link id be very grateful) so basically im trying to find out what does work 100% and what doesnt maby we can clean the thread up a bit and get everything that is meant to work 100% to the first post of this thread ?

For latest updates to be shown in the first thread is down to the OP.

From my experiences with EAV / ESS this is the state of play to date:

Both Mara & Nikko trial resets function which means that every 30 days after initial trial period, run the app, register a new trial license with a fake email address & you are good to go again. Or obtain new license details from TNOD / Portable.

By preventing the ESET kernel (ekrn.exe) through firewall or host file rules from connecting to the expiration servers can gain another 15 days grace period.

The permanent activation features of the above patches currently keep the products in an activated state & allow the AV database module to be updated; some others modules such as Internet Protection do not update.

IMO the best method to keep EAV / ESS fully functional ATM without frequent user intervention (Apart from purchasing licenses). Is through TNOD installed or the portable version in a permanent location & white-listed. Set it by running the config.bat file, select options to launch silently @ start-up & install a new license if the existing one is about to expire. This only needs to be done once, takes a few seconds to accomplish & you are hot to trot. You can add appropriate firewall / hosts block rules for the ESET kernel if you wish too.

At the end of the day each to their own preferred method.

It will be interesting to see what other activation solutions the future brings.
