^ Now that is embarrassing, thanks for asking :pos:

I pay ~13$ for night unlimited and miniscule daytime usage plus 250 free local calls (3 minutes each) before being billed. I save all my video watching for early morn (till 8AM) ;)

EDIT: From a different server. The speeds are a little more presentable ;)

  • 1 month later...

New router installed (all inclusive, wireless, internet and telephony). At 30 down, contemplating going for 70.

Results while torrenting with a certain private music tracker. It was amazing seeing a torrent upload at 1 mb/s. Internal LAN speed transfers has doubled as well. So I can scrap that D-Link Dir-325 router for good :)

At this moment I have ~70-85Mb/s download and ~20-40Mb/s upload (in torrents I have seen often 3-4Mb/s upload ) -> this is with router / without router the speed arrives at 100-120Mb/s (download) and 50-70Mb/s (upload)

Good for you. Jealous

Price, usage limit (if any), ISP and location? :dunno:

Now I am in East Europe . The whole pack is ~25E (equiv.) = TV cable + 2 mobile phones + 1 fixed line + internet connection .

The internet is on fiber optic and is advertised at 100Mb/s (not guaranteed the bandwidth) .

The bad part comes in a few weeks when I will have to deal with the crappy internet connection in a more `civilised` country - Italy (there if I get 10Mb/s I can consider that I'm lucky... ) :P

That's just sick. :mad2:

I pay ~12€ for one landline (750 mins. free which we mostly don't use thanks to the mobiles) and 2Mbps broadband with miniscule daytime usage  although night-time is fully unrestricted unlimited.

Sky is the limit (of disappointment). :(

Posted Image

Advertised speed: Down = 25Mb/s, Upload = 1.5Mb/s

Sky Broadband Package - Unlimited @ £10pm = US$15.5pm. :)

"Unlimited" means unlimited download & upload anytime.

Still, it could be worse.

This is when you wanna kill yourself. I'm paying 'bout 8 quids myself for a $hitty 2 Mbps connection for miniscule daytime usage :( and nighttime unlimited ;)

@ Husen - What wouldn't I give for your "disappointing" connection :P

Getting a complex seeing the isp speeds...

Mine is a moderate connection with limit of 20 gb after which the speed decreases to a quarter of the current speed

Anyway, here is an update of mine:

As far as money is concerned, I pay around 50$ US for this. And it is still crap. So, if you pay less, consider

yourself lucky.

Cost 15,20 Euro or 18,5 $

I'm happy with it. My ISP offers 100Mb/s

Advertised speed: Down 70Mb/s, Upload 10MB/s

Cost 579 NOK = 96 USD a month

200 Mbit available, but that is too costly, 407 USD a month
