Yep, for now, but I'm planning on uninstalling it. Good firewall + Sandbox + Private Browsing/Incognito should do the trick.

To be honest, this one is sort of a "flavor of the moment" kind of thing for me.

Sometimes, I get sick of the sluggish behavior and I will clean out the av scanner from my system.

Other times I like seeing the scanner in my task bar.

I am feeling a little better about my current scanner, Panda Cloud.

It may not be the most ubber scanner, but it is very fast, and very light.

After testing it against several different tests, it worked perfectly without slowing my machine down.

I would prefer antivirus to take care of my system rather than that IQ,Common sense,etc stuff as I am Lazy. :tease:

Yes, but not continuously. The feature to 'disable real-time scanning' is an something which I use as and when required. Rest of the time the 'real-time scanning' is allowed to run. BTW others, too use my rig.

real time scanners are often a nuisance..blocking fixes, cracks and legitimate sites..damn false positives :D
