did you used the SND patch to register the app by any chance?

if so, the remove IDM's homepage from your HOSTS file

Your hosts file is in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder. Look for a line in your hosts file saying

127.0.0.1 www.internetdownloadmanager.com

or

127.0.0.1 internetdownloadmanager.com

(or both)

and delete that line (or those two lines).
