Jin
My Reason for still using NOD32 v2:1. I want the GUI2. It's light in the system3. I want it to be basically there in realtime based on signature(Suicide OPTION to use) Nah!I have other realtime anti-malware (PREVX) which I trust. (Thanks Shajt!)and Im using a firewall (LnS) + On-demand scanners (HITMAN and MBAM). Plus I only visit NSANE for my apps.

blah!
Once a 'Trial Resetter' is released for the V2, I don't mind sharing my personalized configurations. Those who are interested may use it as a base around which to enhance their protection even further. Hey dcs18, Mind sharing your config for NOD32 v2? Thanks! Glad people are still using v2! Thinking about using NOD32 v2 on my nettop.

jalaffa
The not updating virus definitions part could well have to do with this: The updates are pushed at the same time for both. It's just that when the servers are overloaded, paid versions get higher priorities. And servers getting overloaded only happens once in a 6 months or a year (as far as I can remember). Give it some time to make the update

rseiler
how do you install nod32 antivirus 2.0 in win 7 ultimate? it is not compatible with this os.I assume you meant 2.7. If you really meant 2.0, forget about it and use 2.7. It is compatible. If MS puts up a warning that it isn't, just ignore it, but I don't recall one.
