Well it looks like the fix works ok, but I keep getting this error when I try to access Advanced options section then all the GUI freezes. I think it's a bug. I get the same error in trial. I have Win 7 Pro X64.

Uninstall your ESET. Then after you removed your eset, go to RUN and type REGEDIT. Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ESET . Now DELETE ESET. Done :) install again your eset :) Hope that helps.

I'm running Windows 7 x64. I installed PureFix 2.02 through Option 1. How do I know if Web Protection is working properly? Should I uninstall and reinstall through the Troubleshooting method?

Some users are having issues with the Web Protection in ESET v5 (Mainly Windows 7 x64)

You can try the following installation method to overcome this:

1. Uninstall ESET 5 + Reboot (Only if ESET is installed)

2. Install ESET 5

3. Activate trial license(using any made up email address)

4. Force a manual update - this will come through at around 15mb

5. Reboot in safe mode and run PureFix

6. Restart into normal mode and run and update again - this will come through at around 35-40mb

Yes i know, just wanted to point out that installing with Option 1 on win 7 64 bit, the web protection does not work. It shows as enabled in the program when it actually does not work. So you should test if web protection is actually working.

i just installed v 5 and box mara but after it keeps telling me that is not activated.

i didnt use any name/serial during installation and after installed it.

is there something else to do?

i am unable to find hips module

dunno if its a eset bug or purefix bug

I'm slightly confused jofre, tnod 1.41 final created a folder C:\Program Files\TNod User & Password Finder. Why did you say "Nothing will be installed ; just one .exe file, shortcut on desktop."

It unrared with an installer file.

By the way, it works flawlessly!
