@ashish1989

First of all, I guess you are still looking for adblock, but not anti adblock. And to this one, who recommended AdGuard - did you really think so or were you mistaken just  by chance?

@ashish1989 I think you are asking about anti-adblock detector for sites that run scripts and detect that you are using some kind of adblocker and such sites will only work for you when you disable the adblocker.

sites like:

devuploads etc.

If one possesses the knowledge to create custom filters, one doesn't need any additional anti-AdBlocker.

Personally, haven't come across any site which couldn't be bypassed with custom rules on my AdBlocker.

OK, now I realized, it wasn't a typo.
But I don't understand why an ordinary computer user would need such a thing.
You probably know more about this matter and you can explain it clearly even to fools like me - what do you do with it?

There are some websites which forces to disable my adblocker. I just need a anti adblocker for the same

Yes, thanks, I finally understood what you were really looking for. Too old a brain, sometimes takes a long time to understand some things.

Strange browser selection 😲, but if you want free extension, I'd recommend Adguard Adblocker and use of allowlist in its settings. Adguard app is even better though in latest Win10-11 it can fight with some vpns like Atlasvpn.

But adguard is heavy as compared to ublock origin

Well . . . by "heavy," if you're referring to memory consumption, both AdGuard and uBlock use negligible resources.

Of course, AdGuard's consumption is bound to be slightly higher since uBlock's filtering capability is confined to browsers.

FWIW, I'm using both AdGuard and uBlock on 2 different browsers. :coolwink:

I tested Ublock Origin and it's possible to add 'Trusted sites' on which web pages uBlock Origin should be disabled.

Adguard browser extension can do more than UO does if you use its Stealth mode: disable webrtc and so on.

I added the following filters to uBlock Origin :

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/FadeMind/hosts.extras/master/UncheckyAds/hosts
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Yhonay/antipopads/master/popads.txt
https://www.i-dont-care-about-cookies.eu/abp/
https://raw.github.com/liamja/Prebake/master/obtrusive.txt
https://openphish.com/feed.txt

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ruvelro/Halt-and-Block-Mining/master/HBmining.bat
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/xd4rker/MinerBlock/master/assets/filters.txt

When it comes to rules, I added the following ones:

||cookiebot.com^$third-party
youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.openPopupConfig.supportedPopups.adBlockMessageViewModel, false)
youtube.com##+js(set, Object.prototype.adBlocksFound, 0)
youtube.com##+js(set, ytplayer.config.args.raw_player_response.adPlacements, [])
youtube.com##+js(set, Object.prototype.hasAllowedInstreamAd, true)

Don't you face any website telling you to disable your adblock

Can you provide the best settings, and how about the memory consumption?

I use multiple browser tactics with different adblocking settings - loose to strict. I can't separate browser extension memory consumption from browser memory consumption. Edge uses a lot. App uses maybe 25-100 MB or something.

About @pc71520lists, Easylist is included in Adguard Ads Base. Maybe there are more overlaps, too lazy to check and bad memory. 🙃

Yeah, I know...

Overlaps do exist...

Glad you finally got that figured-out . . . sensible folks do subsequently realize that the only solution is to learn how to craft their own custom rules in order to combat the occasional site that enforce anti-AdBlock. 😉

Can you please write a small guide on how to create custom rules or point us in the right direction?

A guide won't be relevant since custom rules would differ from site-to-site . . . from AdBlocker-to-AdBlocker . . . from filter list-to-filter list . . . and also, from individual-to-individual configurations.

BTW, it's also not as straight-forward as merely adding a site to the "allowed" list, as suggested earlier . . . at times, extra rules are required to be created on the block list side, as well.

IMO, it's not a good idea to add any site (or, even sub-domain) to the "allowed" list . . . better to create rules targeting just the element/s, specifically responsible for the anti-AdBlock.
