Which AV is better among MSE, avast and NOD32 . I am real confused and I keep changing my AV every week. :dunno:

ESET (NOD32) Smart Security v4.2 =)

You change your AV every week? :o

Why?are you often infected? If so you you should change your way of surfing, downloading etc...

None AV is 100% effective,if you use bad keygens, cracks etc you are sure to be infected even with the best one.

Stick with Nod32 is my advice, and be clever mate!

Windows Seven (X64 if possible) + ESET NOD32 = no more virus problem. :dance2:

Nothin is better or best. It's just personal preference. I prefer ESET AV. But I'm using Avast ATM. ;)

RadioActive

jeez, not again!

I suggest you use the "search" feature, there are already a few threads about (more or less) the same subject. And here's one of them, check it out.

I recently downloaded nod32 4.2 64 bit ( yes i use win7 64 bit) but Box mara fix v1.3 is not working anymore. It was asking for username and password for updating.

It is blocking all the web addresses used by nodenabler too.

fix is a small word for the box mara fix .

it does what it is supposed and that too with all the panache ! ;)

i have upgraded two versions of nod32 ,

and not a single problem ,

even once .

i once had the same problem ,

it was asking for username and password everytime it updated and was failing .

just unfix and refix ,

solved the problem for me.

do as dkt says .

if still it persists ,

just follow these ....

disable self defense .

reboot .

unfix .

reboot.

uninstall.

reboot.

run a registry cleaner .

clean every trace of nod 32 .

reinstall., ( just dont put anything anywhere , let it install as it is )

reboot.

disable self defense .

reboot.

apply the fix .

reboot .

now check the tray icon . it should say -- open window for virus database version .

if it is , all is good .

if it is not , u probably messed up some step .

;)
