Karlston
Promo video for Intel's Tiger Lake processors leaks Intel is set to hold an event on September 2 where it will announce 'something big'. By now, it's all but confirmed that the firm will be launching its next-generation 'Tiger Lake' processors at the event, which will be 10nm CPUs with its new Xe graphics. Thanks to leakster WalkingCat, we can take a look at a 50-second promo video that shows off the new 11th-generation processors. The video shows some new branding, such as a brand-new Intel Core sticker along with a new Iris Xe Graphics sticker. There's also a strange amount of dancing for a video about computer processors that's under a minute. And Intel is promising better AI, of course, and it's boasting Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 4. Obviously, Wi-Fi 6 was included in its previous processors, but Thunderbolt 4 is new. Thunderbolt 4 is what we'd call a "full" Thunderbolt 3 port today, with actual 40Gbps bandwidth, support for dual 4K monitors, and so on. Intel says, "It's Performance Taken to the Next Level. 11." The notion of dialing it up to 11 was also brought up by Google this year, and it's probably going to be a theme for companies moving past 10. Effect. One can see, it was professionally mad and up to the desires of the company. I know this from our own experience
