mara- Posted December 30, 2009 Share Posted December 30, 2009 Instructions :-1- Install Diskeeper;2- Use Keyboard (Ctrl + Alt + Delete), Select DKService.exe, then click on "End Process" ;3- Copy mara-patch to same Directory where Diskeeper was installed ( normally at My Computer \ C:\Program Files\Diskeeper Corporation\Diskeeper and Paste patch here;4- Aplly mara-Patch ;5- Reboot Computer;I think that steps 2, 3 and 5 are not needed. Patch will automatically stop DK service and will automatically detect location of Diskeeper. And I never needed reboot, but do as you wish. The Windows Installer should work now. I was just wondering why Revo put the [trigger] there? Revo knows that I would walk right into a trap. It's just that most of the patches are wrongly flagged as trojans. Plus this patch is made by Autoit program so many of the AVs don't like it that's why they are showin it as a trojan. Additionally it attempts to place an autorun.inf file in the same location to automatically restart itself.Patch have same behavior like this worm but is clean. Its false positive! And many of the others like it.
