So the type of installer being used itself is a factor for successful activation.For me,as long as the patch has the disabled update check feature then i will use it.As IDM updates were constant to stop these patches,i think its a good idea to stay in a good working build for a while.Thank you very much Actver and yaschir,your patches works  fine here.

 

 

Edit: As per some suggestions,i forgot to tell that i am using TRIAL Installer eversince.Thats why i only use yaschir's trial reset and Actver's noupdate patch.

Hehe cannot throw Windows defender into trash. It stays in Windows like herpes. 😝

I disabled it and then ran yaschir patch and everything working correctly now.

you can check it in idm folder

Internet Download Manager/IDMan.exe.Local/xxxxxx/comctl32.dll

 

I know, I have a personal script for make the same thing, and my script can check after a update to change the name of the folder in IDMan.exe.Local and run IDM :)

Serial needs to be there but needs to be empty string. So, .reg file by @CentOS™ works after changing it to Serial=""

then you should be able to run the patch without any problems.

also in Windows 8.1 and 10, you will need to disable Microsoft Defender (a built-in protection) too as well.

Works for me without Serial="" with @Ali.Dbg v17.2 patch...

Weird... Without the Serial="" it still gave the registration dialog at IDM startup, using @Ali.Dbg v17.2 patch.

Absolute right many post but not one single post mention what works and what not works, member post fix but forget mention if fix is for retail or trial or both. I stay on 6.36 because it do what I need and works.

this because no one was fully perfect... all testing happening as IDM developers fixed some crack loopholes.. as nothing last forever lol

but now all is well.. final patched updates r already dong well now.. (the link wat i give and some more r out there)
