Latest unreleased Windows Insider build revealed the new Control Center UI for Windows 10

 

Yesterday Microsoft accidentally pushed out an Internal build to Windows Insiders on Fast Ring. The new update gave us a sneak peek at the upcoming Start Menu changes but that wasn’t the only thing new in the build.

 

Now Rafael Rivera has discovered a Registry edit that should enable the new Control Center for Windows 10 users. Back in 2018, we reported that Microsoft is working on a new Control Center which might get added to Windows 10 in the future. Now, the registry edit has given us a sneak peek at the new Control Center. Unfortunately, the Registry Edit is just available for the new unreleased build which was pulled by Microsoft.

 

 

The new Control Center is divided into two parts: Quick Actions and Action Center. Quick Actions are an adjustable panel with Quick Actions like Bluetooth and WiFi. The other part is the Action Center which will have all the notifications. At this moment, the Control Center is broken and doesn’t work properly but we expect Microsoft to fix it before it rolls out to the public. Microsoft hasn’t officially commented on the availability of Control Center but it should come with 20H1 in the future.
