House Lawmakers To Question Facebook, Alphabet, Twitter Over Political Bias And Censorship

The House Judiciary Committee is set to question the biggest social media companies Tuesday on their social media filtering practices, which will likely lead to accusations of political bias from Republican lawmakers

 

Top executives for Google, Facebook, and YouTube will be present to testify.

 

“The advent of social media has made it possible for people to connect across continents, explore vast amounts of information, and share meaningful dialogue with friends and strangers,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte said in a statement. “However, this same technology can be used to suppress a particular viewpoint and manipulate public opinion.”

 

The hearing will be similar to another one held in April, but many representatives were not present at the time.

 

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted in a hearing before the Senate that Facebook is a left-leaning place. The same could probably be said of Twitter and Google parent company Alphabet, but all promise to not make decisions based on ideology and politics.

 

“I am pleased that the leading social media companies have agreed to send content management experts to answer questions on their content moderation practices,” Goodlatte continued, “and how they can be better stewards of free speech in the United States and abroad.”

Congress is not going to do nothing about it,  different  people testify in front of Congress everyday from Facebook to the FBI , Some of the  FBI  piloted against the current president and said some really bad things about him, while they supposed to have had been investigating HRC they turned the blind eye to all the crimes she done and part of congress  question the deep state  and you could tell they was guilty as can be and the congress on the left were acting  really awful trying too disturb things were the truth wouldn't come out but it didn't help because the truth did come out .

 

Many in the FBI under Obama was corrupt and it's hard to believe anything  in the left wing news or any shit the democrats try too pin on the  president because the deep state witch is these Rouge FBI agents were plotting against him. If it would of not been about the presidential campaign and HRC got in like the FBI wanted they would of  turned the blind eye to Facebook because Facebook had been selling data for years and under Obama and nothing was ever said or did they care .  All the left wing news is now days is a carnival show full half truths  and lies  . I'm sick of it!

This sites a joke we have censor everything we post in news to satisfy there Anti USA members . This guy told the truth about it if you're going remove his topic you need to remove all political topics.

People keep getting banned because they post about politics on here and it needs too stop they need to remove the news from this site all together and just make it about software  if they going ban members over trying to spread the news. What good is a site were i have to fear what I say in the comments or what i post may get me banned they may as well ban me now if that's the way it is?
