brain_death
People who like to test out distributions in VirtualBox or who want to run applications in an isolated virtual machine received good news this week. VirtualBox guest drivers are being added to the Linux kernel. This will allow Linux distributions to automatically integrate with VirtualBox when running as guests, without requiring the user to install or compile a separate guest modules package. Quote 2017-12-18 virt: Add vboxguest driver for Virtual Box Guest integration This commit adds the headers describing the ioctl API for the /dev/vboxguest device used by the Virtual Box Guest Additions in Virtual Box virtual machines. The driver providing the /dev/vboxguest device will allow Virtual Box Guest Additions features such as copy-and-paste, seamless mode and OpenGL pass-through. Signed-off-by...
