Hmm.. your previous comment must have thrown me, as I actually already have .NET Framework 4 installed on Windows XP SP3, and the activator doesn't run. Was a little confused the first time I used it, as I clicked on "Activate" and got it going, then I was wondering what the Register button was for, so I also clicked on this, thinking it was for my own personal details, then IDM wouldn't fire up again (yes, I exited IDM before trying the Register button), so I uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed, "Activate", checked registry again and saw no name/serial details and guessed that this was purely to get it going regardless of details so left it as it now is and it seems to work ok.. I had been using REiS patch for a while now, even on 628build11 since the day it came out, then a few hours ago got the Fake Serial message, right out of the blue and after one week of using 628b11, so decided to try yours..
