Is there any way to see if the virus definition is up to date? In V2 you could see what version you had but right now you cant with V3 as far as i know and thus i do not know if i have the latest with the host block.

ok my feedback for Team Uret preactivation method is fine.  Successfully installed directly MB3 using DeltaFox keygen/Team URET .

Update host block settings used:

0.0.0.0 keystone.mwbsys.com

0.0.0.0 data.service.malwarebytes.org

After 1st pc restart,   had one episode of unable to access to update server., click on 2nd try and passes thru successfully downloaded updates.

Updated feedback:    After the 1st restart, i noticed the premium key reverts back to VXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX after using the Team URET keygen, so its only 1 premium key in my end despite generating any other keys.  Nevertheless, you still get a premium license.

Now, i am using FWB and disabled host blocking method , license key holds... VXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX  even after 2nd pc restart.   Updates are fine.   So no issues here.  Nice job from the guys of Team Uret especially to Delta Fox

i observed this and replicated and generated several keys but it always reverts back to VTXX...  neverthless, premium key holds given the right setting.

@ alfreire , Mb2.2 activated and installed over mb3  workaround will hold...  yo just need to get the proper workaround and settings  to make it activated. I have replicated it over and over again and this works smoothly in my end on 3 pcs i have with 2 different isp.

most errors seems in licenseconfig.json, detects your machine id unique on every install the signature above it re checks back and if replaced by different hashes reverts back your program to free...

hahaha yeah i know about that ... v2.2 is better indeed but, right now,  its not about being wise or not but tather doing further testing on this ...3.0 , so far in my end ,v 3.04 is a much better compared to past versions.. which i can say sucks.. so expecting this will improved in future release.

I think the only way to detect macchine id is stored in previous license.conf  that when upgrading to mb3.0  to converts the license.conf  to licenseocnifg.json thats why we dont have a problem upgrading.... method.

malwarebyte is1............  in registry - activated. but the devs create measures to bypass them thats why host blocking is needed here. Then it will reinstall the programsilently to free....

any relation to uninstall.exe ????

@knolwedge, look at the spconfig.file, where the registry key is stored....  and creates a key under system32\drivers\XXXXXX.sys for the specific hardware.

there are about several keys there...  and i am looking on where they redirect it to malwarebyte is 1,  malwarebyte detectiome installed timew is also located in registry.... lol

if u remove LicenseControllerImpl.dll

it go from full version back to free version ?

and if u place it back it full version again ?

when you placed back the licensecontrollerimpl.dll , does it changes the other hashes  if you placed other json file with different machine id and became premium? would all other json files changes too?

Im gonna test it later ... and see whats my observation...

but the upgrade method is confirmed ok...  just need to have minor adjustment... in the workaround.

Updated Initial Feedback: @ knowledge/

Hmm..  when you removed/ rename licensecontrollerimplemetation.dll  no changes will be made to mbamservice programdata and uses a different value in the registry in FREE version.

to change license key, close mbam tray,  just copy the activated config folder of different key on top of it in programdata\mbamservice

delete/rename  the *.dat files in mbamservice\lkg_db folder

delete/rename the *.dat files under programdata\mbamservice

run mbam.exe again..

you get to change the license key.

hmm.. however,  remember the licenseconfig.json machine id is same knowledge, what if its different,  im sure it will not accept it,  mblicense key changer would still be the best option at this point in time as it detects immediately your machine id on upgrade method.

Is it OK the  "Fix | Courtesy of knowledge from the first post for version 3.0.4.1269? Which is the best fix?Thx

It all depends on the user preference.. there is no best fix but rather i would say alternative methods which works for you.

What are the methods of installation and activation?

1. Upgrade Method + MB License key Changer

2. Direct Method

Upgrade method + MB License key changer  i can say is am using at the moment.

Direct Method  via pre-activation using Team URET /DeltaFox Keygen v1.5  works but you seem to have only 1 key.  Nevertheless, you got a premium one. I've been testing this over and over again. But you got to install the program directly that is the advantage.

Even if you use these methods but one thing common ---- you should always block license check.
How to  block checking?
1. host blocking  - most common and easier
2. firewall block  - another method not to use host blocking technique.

Just tested, mate,  it will not accept installing and changing key because of HD Machine fingerprint ID using direct method.

Nice.  For now, for direct install use the team URET Keygen v1.5 this works for a premium key.  If you wish to change that single key,  i can make something to change it unless DeltaFox create v1.7 keygen  ( odd number)

Addendum :   On the other hand, knowledge , direct install is possible...   while preserving a different key.

I wish to do the host blocking

In  "Add Exclusion Wizad"  I don't have access to "Specify a File or Folder" (for example C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts).

or whether I try to select  folder "etc" or file "hosts", they doesn't appear.

Any solution? Thx

you don't need to! just paste this:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
