Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 3.0.4.1269

Hi to everyone a question to all expert of security programs for windows... why installing Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium 3.0.4.1269 on my pc with windows 10 pro x64 google chrome build 55.0.2883.87 m (64-bit) and internet explorer 11 doesn't work anymore??? trying instead to deactivate exploit protection in the settings of program everything returns to normal Can anyone help me to solve this strange problem? thanks in advance for the replies

sorry but i dont have any issues here IE11 , latest google chrome 55  installed and running smoothly  on windows 10 x64 anniversary edition,   on mbam 3.04

 

 

try re tracing back what you did. maybe you can start by uninstalling mbam and see if google chrome 55 and ie 11 works.

I tested the original installer without any keygen or activation, Sometime it update and sometime not

 

It seems this version not Final at all

If I install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium 3.0.4.1269 google chrome ie 11 and do not start more if I disable the exploits protection everything returns to normal

Now I've uninstalled mbam 3.04 and the browsers are ok

I think staying with latest v2 version is recommendable at the moment; v3 final still has lots of bugs that need to be solved

the 3rd one is not for activation  it's to ward off the spying they do thats in there privacy policy they also sell you're data to Google and everywhere else . I keep it fully blocked when not doing updates i have updates set too manual.

 The info on telemetry. malwarebytes.com  peaks my head again. I just disable by using the dont send anoynmous usage threats which you previously posted is not enough.   thanks for the heads up steven.

the 2 ip addresses is connected to keystone.mwbsys.com which checks your licenses on a specified time  before downloading updates.   I am still testing if to  allow the ip address of the cdn.mbamupdates.com in inbound only .. if this fixes the updates behavior but blocking the outbound checking of license key to server as well as its response.  hmm if this fixes updates..  Anyway, will post it here  But so far  blocking the outbound license servercheck ip seems to work on updates.

 

Furthermore, if you block it with a firewall you dont need to use host blocking anymore.  Tested this in upgrade workaround to 3.04 and reduplicating settings.  It will retain your license premium and downloading will work quite nicely. Just disable anonoymous usage and threats to send back to server.   Like steven has posted earlier, blocking telemetry.malwarebytes.com  fully blocks the spying... I will inspect this , as i havent tested this on my rig , but its quite a a very good contribution though.

 

With regards to direct install of v3.04, using pre activated, i will test it later , using team URET ( deltafox & CO) if this works in my part, this could be a nice alternative for v3.04 direct install activation + firewall block ( if you dont want to use host blocking)  or host blocking method.

 

One thing i also noticed despite the premium never expire incription in mb3, your grace term is set to 30 days only in license config.json...  using the upgrade method workaround , your grace term is 0 days and still works as lifetime premium.  No installation token observed but does not affect functionality of the soft.

Uninstall Malware byte through uninstaller and restart the PC.Again search mannuallky for folder malwarebyte in c>windows>program files and delete the folder named malware byte.Again search pcfor malwarebyte in c>windows>program filesx86 and delete the folder named malware.Restart the PC and run path for preactivate and now run Mbam3x and post reply as problem solved.Disable any antivirus and antispyware to test the product

Each time I install the 3.0.4 or the older ver 2. I get an ALERT from HitmanProAlert warning me of an intruder... if I exit Malware all is good...why do I get the alert from Hitman Pro Alert when using either 3.0 or 2.0 Malware bytes? I've excluded both versions in Hitman alert yet it still gives an alert open.

The installation and updates work great with both versions
