Batu69
Windows Insider chief says new build is being tested Microsoft was expected to release a new Windows 10 build for insiders sometime this week and now Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider program, says that “a new build is being hustled” as we speak. This means that the release could take place sometime very soon, most likely today or tomorrow, as the company doesn’t usually ship new builds on Fridays (although it did happen several times in the past) or on weekends. Information on what could be changed in this new build is not yet available, but we expect it to be released to those who are enrolled in the fast ring of the Insider program. The upcoming build will be part of the RS2 branch and will certainly be aimed at both PCs and mobile devices. Microsoft was original expected to publish an RS2 build last week, but due to some internal upgrades that were performed on the company’s systems used to flight new builds, the release was delayed until this week. Specifics on the launch date are never provided, as the Windows Insider program is an ongoing effort and bugs can always be spotted at the last minute and force the company to hold back the release. For the moment, all we have to do is wait and with a little luck, the new build can be published later today if no major bugs are discovered. straycat19
Microsoft is the only company who releases new builds to break more stuff than their previous build broke but the release is intended to fix things that it broke on the fix released two iterations ago. And thus goes the vicious cycle. My nieces husband bought a new CyberPower Gaming system with Windows 10 and had nothing but problems with it, particularly with the video. Spent hours on the phone with tech support, from CyberPower, Microsoft, and AMD, applied all kinds of so-called fixes all to no help. I helped him with one DVD. I gave him a brand new copy of Windows 8.1 Pro Retail and another disk with all the drivers he needed for his system and he hasn't had a problem in the last two weeks. steven36
LOL , you gave someone with a gaming system windows 8.1 when at steam everyone has been using Windows 10 along time .. You can tell this person dont know nothing about computer games or ether not a real gamer or they would not downgrade too DX 11 from DX 12 were all games are not compatible with it . If you knew anything about PCs like you claim you would fixed it for him not downgrade a gaming system too Dx11. And these builds are Betas in the OP they get system changes that cause regressions witch is expected . These are RS2 preview builds it dont get released too the general public tell spring so it you're testing it you are beta testing. Funny thing is I been running running RS1 since a week before it came out and done every update so far and Ive not had no real problems could you elaborate on what kind of problem he had.? This is the internet were people just make stuff up, so i have a hard time believing anything people who hate windows 10 says. My Dell was having BSOD with Windows 8.1 i put RS1 on it clean install and it fixed it. its been sold as a rock so far 2 pcs . It had a few bugs in it, that did not apply too me,most had to do with drives and eBook readers not being compatible , but they been fixing these bugs with every update as fast as they can. .But also this is also expected too when a new O/S goes too to the general public they always find bugs the beta testers didn't. i even predicted by the next day after it was released the News would be about RS1 bugs they didn't find and i was right on the money .So if you had conman sense you would of expected it. Some of you are on a hate crusade every since they put GWX in Windows 7 and 8.1 and it would not matter is if Windows 10 was sold Gold you would call it shit . GWX is gone so get over it already. That's right im calling you haters bluff ! You people would not buy windows 8.1 so they try to force Windows 10 down you're throat for a year so they can try too make money . If everyone stayed on Legacy windows and thanked like that Microsoft may as well not make Desktop software anymore . But since like 22 % marketshare in little over a year it looks like Windows 10 is here to stay ether adapt or die on Windows 7 or 8.1 as it fades away, because time is all Microsoft has .. Legacy O/S like Windows 7 will die a slow death before its over with you will be like XP users were you're programs want work anymore unless you shop at old apps dot com. and Windows 8.1 was dead since day 1 already . There's no future in the past and they never has been and some people live in the past, tell the future catches up with them and eat crow in the end for being stuck in the past . I dont know whats the most annoying the Microsoft Fanboys who act like Microsoft is God or the Bitter windows 10 haters who stay on Windows and whine about Microsoft. its a close tie . You people make me laugh if you dont like Microsoft why dont you switch to Linux or MAC ? . I use Linux and Windows and I dont have a problem with Windows 10!
