This Is What It Looks Like When The NSA Hacks Into Your Gmail And Facebook

Do you know how it looks like when the NSA hacks into your Gmail and Facebook? Find here

This is the first time ever that a target of the NSA’s controversial Prism program has been recognized.

Based on documents provided by Edward Snowden – the whistleblower, Tony Fullman, a New Zealand citizen who was born in Fiji, had the contents of his Facebook and numerous Gmail accounts intercepted by the NSA, reports the Intercept.

Unfortunately, Fullman has a sob story. A pro-democracy activist who opposed Fiji’s military ruler, New Zealand spies suspected that Fullman was planning a violent revolution in Fiji. Therefore, in 2012, spy operations from New Zealand and the NSA raided Fullman’s Australian home, his passport was revoked, his foundation’s telephones were bugged and he was put under top-secret NSA surveillance.

During this time, New Zealand spies asked the NSA to a keep a watch on Fullman’s communications through his Facebook account and his Gmail accounts.

To conduct the electronic eavesdropping, the NSA turned to one of its most controversial surveillance programs, Prism, which was also the second major revelation to come out of the Snowden leaks. The agency uses Prism to secretly obtain communications that are processed by major technology companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Yahoo.

In 2013, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook CEO had written that “Facebook is not and has never been part of any program to give the US or any other government direct access to our servers.” Google has also refused to accept that it is in “cahoots with the NSA.”

No evidence was found that proved Fullman was planning to overthrow the Fiji government even with the intercepted communications.

However, we can now see what Prism can access in someone’s Gmail or Facebook account. Here’s what the spies saw:

This is a picture of Tony Fullman in NSA files taken from his Facebook. It has the EXIF data created by the camera he took it with.

“US-984XN” is the code for surveillance under Prism, according to the Intercept report. This email taken from Fullman’s Gmail includes an attachment defining his bank account.

Here’s an email Fullman received from someone looking for a job with his resume attached.

Snowden exposed Prism many years ago so we all ready know there hacking you ..they dont hack me because i dont use  these services since Google updated it's privacy policy some years ago . You're all like a bunch of sheep to the slaughter. A bunch of complaining  but you do nothing to help yourself.

That's up to you , Why is NSA hacking you,  what info do you have , they want  is the question? The NSA has been hacking people for a 100 years  . They even hacked Hitler’s Code  the Enigma machine back in World War 2 there not going to go away any time soon .

http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/news/hacking-hitler-s-code-brings-enigma-machine-to-bozeman-computer/article_48ec5ee2-3973-51d0-826d-338a76564b2c.html

Even if the USA  said they got rid of the NSA it  will just exist under a different name like it did before it was called the NSA.

Hitler’s Enigma Code machine was hacked by British, not americans. They had a Polish team of mathematicians, led by Marian Rejewski. They created a simulator machine nicknamed Bomba, after an ice cream treat. Their efforts were helped by a spy, who stole Enigma manuals and sold them to the French, who gave them to the Poles.

Enigma, originally created to send bank or business messages securely, came with five wheels or rotors stamped with the alphabet. The German military created a monthly codebook that set a new key for each day – telling operators which three rotors to use and which of 26 positions to start each rotor.

The Polish code-breaking method was too slow once the Germans started changing their code key daily. So the British built deciphering machines, called Bombes, to automate and speed up the search.

The code crackers were helped when German signal operators got lazy, repeating easy-to-find patterns, like Heil, Hitler, “wetter” for weather or a girlfriend’s name.

But then, the Germans switched from three to four rotors in each Enigma machine, and the British Bombes couldn’t keep up.

So the Americans turned to the National Cash Register company for help. It built more than 100 faster, more powerful Bombes in Dayton, Ohio, and sent them to Washington and Bletchley. The new Bombes were so fast that the Americans had to invent an electronic counter to freeze the solution once the machine found it.

Yes i got confused the Brits witch are allies of the USA cracked Enigma. The USA  did not want to be in World War 2 no ways the reason they entered the war was because the King of England  ask the President for there help. The NSA started in World War 1  hacking the Germans :P

The origins of the National Security Agency can be traced back to April 28, 1917, three weeks after the U.S. Congress declared war on Germany in World War I

A code and cipher decryption unit was established as the Cable and Telegraph Section which was also known as the Cipher Bureau and Military Intelligence Branch, Section 8 (MI-8). It was headquartered in Washington, D.C. and was part of the war effort under the executive branch without direct Congressional authorization. During the course of the war it was relocated in the army's organizational chart several times. On July 5, 1917, Herbert O. Yardley was assigned to head the unit. At that point, the unit consisted of Yardley and two civilian clerks. It absorbed the navy's cryptoanalysis functions in July 1918. World War I ended on November 11, 1918, and MI-8 moved to New York City on May 20, 1919, where it continued intelligence activities as the Code Compilation Company under the direction of Yardley.[19][20]

Hey people, get your tinfoil hats out, lock yourself in a sealed, lead lined room, allow no one in and no one out, and don't have any electrical signals including electrical wiring within 100 meters of your location and then I guarantee you that you will be 99% secure from being hacked.  Of course there is always the chance your tinfoil hat might come off while you are sleeping and your brain waves may emanate and be picked up.  If you are really concerned about your security then one thing for sure, you shouldn't be on the internet, whether you use any of the services such as google, facebook, or twitter is beside the point.  Your mere presence makes you traceable.  Live with it.

I totally agree with you. We live in a modern world which, by the comfort that we've created, we gave others, thousands of possibilities through which we make known any aspect of our personal lives.

Just because they don't sleep with each other, doesn't mean they aren't in bed together.

Every marriage nowadays works like that. ?

A very generation like anwser from you, i would expect no less from you ? In one post you slam Microsoft  but you like Google and Facebook so you defend them . That's why they call today's generation, (Generation Like)  were you  think its OK for people to invade you're privacy    What info is the NSA going to find on me ? if you knew my real name and Googled it  you cant find anything . I seen users on this very site i could just Google there username and find out everything  about them.. If you never have put the info out there for them to get to began with there is nothing for them to get ,it dont exist .

Every connected device is subject to threats regardless of the used programs/type of connection/services/...

Everyone nowadays is aware of that, so why people keep uploading important things and complain afterwards?

BUT i don't think official companies like google has the right to hack, share of even to see my "not-so-important" content be it photos, texts, emails or whatever!

They should provide users a minimum maximum of privacy and leave bad things to do to bad guys!

NSA too? Well.. this is another story!

Ask yourself this if you dont think they dont have a right why do you use these services? Why dont you use services  from countries were  they dont have a right ? my email is in  Switzerland  not the USA . It works just as Good . The big problem is about email is this even if you use a email were the NSA or FBI have no jurisdiction the masses are not on the same page as you and if you have a friend that uses these services and you correspond with them they read you're email anyway. That's why if you want too talk to me you will have to IM me using encryption or catch me online here . If you know me, in real life you can call me. Even when i buy something online i give someone else the money and my info never goes online.

If you was really a private person,  you're use too it  and it dont bother you.  for over a quarter of a  century  i lived without the internet and came on long ago so i was raised not to depend on it for everything, to be part of it ,but dont trust people you dont know with you're personal info.

you got confused again, while you're correct saying the usa didn't want to be in WW2, the only reason they went on to play with the pack is because germany declared war on them after japan attacked pearl harbor, because germany & japan were allied.

and if we are to believe churchill, roosevelt wanted to part of it but the congress kept being against it.

They was already in the World War in the Pacific 4 days before Hitler declared war on them, they didn't have a choice ether way because the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor so they was going get involved even if Hitler never  done that  .  People in the USA didn't really like the Brits back then because of the revolutionary war.

What changed public opinion though of England in the USA  was the fact the King ate  Hot Dogs with FDR

Quote

On June 11, 1939, FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt were hosting King George VI and Queen Elizabeth at Hyde Park, their home in Hudson Valley. It was the first time a reigning British monarch had ever set foot in its former colony. And, to celebrate such a momentous occasion, the president served the royals a dinner of hot dogs and beer (perhaps this was also the first White House beer summit?), which the visiting leaders enjoyed while eating with the cooks, gardeners, and other staffers of the Roosevelt estate. FDR's mother was not pleased with her son's antics. The queen had no idea how to eat a hot dog. The New York Times was immensely amused.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2014/02/11/that-time-fdr-served-hot-dogs-to-the-king-and-three-other-strange-state-dinner-facts/

The people in the USA ate it up. and  they got involved  long before that  because the King ask for help ,why do you think they declared war on the USA because they had to honor a trendy they had with Japan.? Japan already had declared war on them

Quote

The US clandestinely entered the war on the side of the British by providing convoy escorts to help get goods to England, selling Britain 50 destroyers on credit under "lend-lease," and actively conducting anti-submarine operations in the western Atlantic, all prior to Hitler declaring war on the US in December 1941.

So no i was not confused  because the USA was already  in the war helping England secretively. Also  they was involved in other things like supplying the former  soviet union with weapons.

no comment other than to say(as this kind of off topic from the OP) but someone sure has alternate reality view of  needs to really look up the history of  and  certainly  the  starting causes of BOTH world wars...... and by that i do not mean the American school book history versions... try land grabs by political influence and then by military force when other options were not going to work s the major drivers...and that is the tip of the iceberg so to speak

If a person knows that the pigs are watching / spying etc. him it is a nice way to lead the idiots around by the nose. When they see what they are expected, they are blind for the rest. And if you are a real bad guy let them know that you know what they are doing - this game is like chess and if you want to make them crazy play 3 dimension chess. Lead them in a labyrinth.

Don't underestimate the enemy = he's smarter than you think

How they deal with 2FA and PGP for email txt?

They throw darts until someone screams, they don't have the power to crack stuff, they are too dumb. The only thing they are good at is intercepting with Wireshark, backdooring pressuring publishers and forcing jail sentences on them if they don't comply, the kiddy stuff. They can't deal with the good stuff.
