Batu69
Just a few more build and we’re done, it adds The Start menu will get a major overhaul in RS1 The Windows 10 Anniversary Update is projected to land on August 2 and the preview builds that Microsoft is rolling out these days are specifically supposed to refine performance and fix the latest bugs before the public launch. And according to Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider program, we’re getting there quite fast, and this is one of the reasons new builds are shipped at a faster cadence than before. There’s still no release candidate just yet and Microsoft is trying to fix all reported issues before compiling one, so a few more builds are still expected before the grand unveiling on August 2. Dona calls for insiders to keep sending feedback now at the very last minute before the public launch in order to help the company provide the most stable and reliable version of the Anniversary Update to retail users. “Team, we’re getting down to the wire for the Anniversary Update release. Please install this build and try things differently than usual this weekend. We still have our quests published in Feedback Hub. We’re going to be doing these this weekend, so if you do as well, please send us feedback on them,” she said. RTM not yet ready though Windows insiders will be the first to get the final build of the Anniversary Update, but for the moment, it’s not yet known which one will be marked as RTM and when it could see daylight. The launch of Anniversary Update will happen on August 2 and will take place for both PCs and mobile phones. Also known as the first wave of Redstone, or Redstone 1, the Anniversary Update will come with a plethora of improvements, including a new Start menu, redesigned Action Center, significantly improved Cortana and so much more. PCs will also get browser extension support for Edge, with several extensions already available for download in the store for Windows insiders. Aug 3 2016 and we are reporting Redstone fails to install on many machines is this not been the news the whole year it's been out every update so far even small ones? They claim the last insider build only has one bug in it and has do with hyper v only thing i care about is the start menu being fixed because its locked up on me a few times but it was easily fixed , the rest of stuff i don't even use When you still use legacy apps like you been using the last 15 years nobody cares about this crap 25 insider builds just too get it back stable again and still they need more .I think there doing this just so it want die out of the media like Windows 8.1 did because it was never free ? They may as well make daily isos . Then soon after insiders will get more broke builds for RS 2 . I wonder how many test builds they will need on it ? TH2 was mostly just a stability build but redstone was a step back and full of regressions this is caused by new features I hope they have it fixed like the claim . they made windows for 40 years and before Windows 10 the only betas ever needed was right before a RTM came out . Windows 7 had lots of beta testers too but since they only needed betas before the RTM came out no one remembers that far back . If you want to read post by Dona Sarkar go here and read it from the horses mouth https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/tag/windows-insider-program/ Quote Known issues for PC AWARENESS: A recent fix went into place for the Hyper-V firmware that will that affect the ability to boot Windows Server 2016 Tech Preview 5 VMs with Secure Boot enabled. A fix for TP5 builds has been developed however, due to release schedules, the Insider Preview build changes will be released before the TP5 fix is released. During that time, if you try to boot a new TP5 VM with Secure Boot enabled, it will fail. The workaround is to disable Secure Boot during this period. Holmes
You haters can hate all you want you confuse excitement and patience with being a fanboy.
steven36
HAHAHA Hater im not i have 2 pcs with windows 10 i bought and paid for.. when redstone comes out i will just update 2 times legally at lest I'm not one of these fake Windows 10 fanboys who stole it, were Microsoft rather they not use it no way and most likely will pull the plug on them one day for not buying it. . People who never bought windows opinions don't matter no how .They never helped Microsoft out so there simply fanboys without a cause., they come in the news section and talk about how great it is and go to next section and talk about stealing it . It must suck to fail at being a fanboy ? A real fanboy would never pirate windows 10 because M$ is everything to them. Giving criticism were its due when you buy someones software for 15 years don't mean you hate something ..If you hated it , you would have never had bought it. .I paid money for windows pcs 2 times in the last few years. I bought windows 8 and Windows 8.1 .I bought Windows 8.1 after Windows 10 was already out. Windows 8.1 free upgrade to Windows 10 on the box... If they want me to use there upgrade they better make sure .it works right or it going make me angry .. Because I could of used what was on it and it worked fine.. If you not bought windows since Vista and pirated windows 7 ,Window 8x and Windows 10.. if it don't work right you would just stick a old pirated version in who cares you didn't have to buy it noway and you're not really a Microsoft supporter you're a fake. Most people who never bought windows were the ones who was thrilled about it being free. If Microsoft had decided to not let pirates upgrade most who praise it in this news section would be too busy trying to crack it or simply rebuke it and use older windows. Money changes everything. Lets see then bypass subscription models in the enterprise version when it happens. Reality is most fanboys are fake, if they didn't steal it to begin with and try to make like there something there not .. there just paid corporate trolls and M$ employees trying to market it . Because no one would act this way if they had to pay for it. .. I was planing to buy Windows 10 all along , if it was any good , I didn't care and i posted this in 2015 before it ever came out... But once I seen it was free it was cheaper to buy a new windows 8.1 PC and upgrade than too buy a Windows 10 PC.. So I done that.

steven36
The word fanboy was actually a word they use to use for Apple lovers before windows 10 came out then it switched Because Windows 10 Quote A horrendous company that has somehow managed to stay afloat for years and appeal to a mass of misguided people. They specialize in taking existing technology, making it all shiny and fancy looking, and re-selling it for double the price. Ironically, their slogan is "Think Different". Their latest and greatest gadget that's getting all the attention is, of course, the iPhone, which is basically comparable to any high-quality $150 phone, except it has "innovative" touch screen technology, and it sells for $600. Apple couldn't quite figure out how to make an operating system, so they just stole the freeBSD kernel and repackaged a bastardized version of it as Mac OS X. It's funny that Apple brags that it's "Unix-based", since no one with experience in Unix would ever use a Mac. Apple frequently runs "clever" ads. Although they've made a ton of them, all the ads boil down to how Windows has viruses and crashes all the time. Apple also have an enormous, cult-like fanbase that like to remind us of these things every five seconds. Apple fanboys are generally smug, annoying, and arrogant, despite the fact that most of them don't know jack shit about computers. Apple Fanboy: "M$ is teh sux0r! Apple pwns!" Windows User: "Windows has a wide selection of software and games, and a huge developer community." Apple Fanboy: "BUT IT CRASHES AND HAS VIRUSES LOL" Windows User: "My OS hasn't crashed since I had Windows ME. And AVG is a free program that keeps my computer secure." Apple Fanboy: "BUT WINDOZE SUXX!" Windows User: "Would you care to tell me about your Mac? I hear it doesn't have many tools for software developers, which are important for my work." Apple Fanboy: "lolololol but windows sucks!!!11" Windows User: "Did you know that a great amout of Apple software is made with Microsoft Visual C++?" Apple Fanboy: "omg wtf is C++?" http://www.urbandictionary.com/tags.php?tag=fanboy Quote fanboyism The collective outlook and behavior of a group of people concerning a subject (movies, games, hardware, comic book characters, etc.) which when challenged results in an antagonistic, passionate, and unreasoned response. Rampant Fanboyism can be found on most internet message boards when such hot button subjects are discussed. You know a fanboy when you see one. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fanboyism

Strange how whenever their is a factual important topic like "Top 10 Reasons not to install W10" or "Security holes in W10" there is no sight of you posting in that thread. (Because it puts Windows 10 down). But whenever there is one glorifying W10 you post within seconds. chiming that its the best and everyone should get it. When bad facts chime in that Karlston post or Steven36, you never seem to post in those threads, lol. Why is that? Also I agree with what Steven36 said about pirating W10, if it wasn't free you guys wouldn't glorify it. You would be using W7 or trying to crack it. Also + look at your signature. Keep Calm and install Windows 10... lol really? That's fanboy at its finest. But its OK, if you think it suits me more "dear" ... lol. Hilarious. Thanks for the laugh. I will leave it at that and go back on topic for Batu69. You go an enjoy your pirated copy of W10.
