“We want to make sure the next build is really great”

Microsoft is now finalizing work on Windows 10 Anniversary Update, and the company is getting ready to introduce a new preview build to users enrolled in the Windows Insider program.

Dona Sarkar, the new head of the Windows 10 testing effort, has posted Gabe Aul’s signature “no builds today” message earlier but has teased a possible launch planned for Tuesday, adding that “tomorrow is a new day.”

And while it makes sense for Microsoft to release a new build this week, it’s also important to note that no major bugs have been discovered, and work on the final versions of the Anniversary Update continues at the desired pace.

Dona has said that “we want to make sure the next build is really great,” and given the fact that she had already promised “interesting things” for insiders a couple of weeks ago, expect the company to move closer towards the final release with every new build that goes public.

RTM build to launch next month

While it’s not surprising that a new Windows 10 build is now being prepared to be shipped to insiders, we still don’t know when Microsoft aims to deliver the RTM version of the Anniversary Update.

Rumor has it that the release is planned for July with version number 1607, but naturally, insiders will receive it before everyone else. Windows 10 turns 1 on July 29, and the final build is likely to be shipped before this date as one last attempt to convince those who are holding back the upgrade to the new operating system to perform the switch.

The Anniversary Update will bring a long list of improvements, including refinements to the Start menu, the Action Center, extensions in Microsoft Edge, and updates for the majority of apps included in the operating system. It will be released free of charge to all devices running Windows 10, including PCs and mobile phones powered by Windows 10 Mobile.

It makes no sense, and I think it would be unprecedented, to release a new PC build on Patch Tuesday. Softpedia will make anything into an article. "Tomorrow is a new day"?!  Really.

Fictional theoretical physicists ..  Its mostly just more entertainment than news ,  Everyone knows Windows 10 came out July 29th and no one can read Microsoft's mind  and the only reason we know redstone exist is because of insider builds as far as when it comes out we don't really  know . Windows 10 threshold 1 came out 3 months ahead of what was said the begin with even .

Latest insiders builds are crap...full  loaded with bugs, glitches and incompatibilities... and the latest is so responsive like a dead...

In M$ are taking care of useless feedback and the most important issues are left aside... I'm an angry insider!
