I've always liked his spot on plain speaking explanations. Its also great to hear the opinion of an actual ex microsoft employee.

Its as we've come to know, that microsofts profits matter more than us puny humans now.I think their new ceo is bad for consumers but great for shareholders.

I combat this by using programmes made by clever people to block hundreds of connections back to the mother ship.Having the pro version I can set updates to notify but not download in the group policy editor as well.

I wonder when the redstone update arrives will it set everything back to default. It shouldn't be a constant battle to run your pc how you want to.

I agree with the guy I have alot of microsoft products not alot microsoft word and windows seven Im trying to learn programming better and if I stop learning the microsoft programming languages Ill have to learn something new.  I dont like what microsoft is doing I do like windows ten when I was using it I liked what I was using I hope when redstone comes out all this crap stops or is reduced we have to standby for redstone to find out.  That doesnt mean Im against products that are not microsoft I plan on continuing to learn linux I dislike close minded users the so called fanboys.  The way I am with politics is the way im with computers Im not one sided Im a independent.

Just schedule the upgrade so it happens when you want, evaluate the software and if it's not suitable roll back and try the upgrade again after Redstone 2 is out.

If you don't have the updates to push 10 then it won't bug you, my mothers laptop hasn't done any recent updates in the last four or so months and the GWX is just sitting there, no prompts at all.
