Batu69
The latest build of Redstone for Windows Insiders is due to hit soon according to a recent tweet by Vice President of Microsoft’s WDG Engineering Systems team, Gabriel Aul where he responded to a request for a general release timeline for the next build with, “We’re working to get one out pretty quickly.” Quote @ReijiAzumah We're working to get one out pretty quickly. — Gabriel Aul (@GabeAul) January 4, 2016 In the past, Microsoft referencing any time frame for Insider drops would mean anything from a few weeks to a couple months, but the insinuation here as that Insiders should expect it soon, probably within the next week or so at the latest. Redstone is the codename for the next major update to Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system which will essentially add more functionality and improvements in much the same way Windows 8.1 did to Windows 8. An early build (11082) of Redstone was already released to Windows Insiders last month to help Microsoft test the software before its public launch sometime in 2016. Insiders have reported several issues with the build ranging from default applications resetting, apps automatically closing, and screen flickering when hooking a device up to another monitor. In addition to the fixing of these bugs, are there any features or visual changes that you would like to see in the next Insiders build of Redstone? JessicaLeigh
With all the defects with the Win 10 rollouts so far, they should've named it Firestone instead of Redstone, lol
Karlston
Or, thinking of the almost certain PC breaking bugs in it, how about Dreadstone... Or thinking about the billion (1,000 million) or so current Windows 7 and 8.1 users who have so far resisted Microsoft's "gentle incentives" to upgrade, how about Fledstone or Deadstone?
