Microsoft has had a huge year thus far with the release of WIndows 10. While the number of installations has without a doubt grown since we last checked, Microsoft has also announced a new milestone that saw a staggering 2.5 billion visits to its Windows Store.

While the above number certainly does not translate to purchases, it is still a staggering amount of people that have visited the store. In fact, Microsoft states that on Black Friday, 75% of of the customers that visited the store made their first purchase. The number likely coincides with Microsoft's "10 Days of 10 Cent Deals" promotion that offered apps, music, games and movies priced at just 10 cents.

As more users adopt Windows 10, it can be only a matter of time before Microsoft smashes another milestone. This could come sooner rather than later, as Microsoft has recently increased the pressure for users to upgrade with their recent changes. Via: Microsoft

I visit the store probably once per day or more since Oct of last year on the insiders program... to check for updates.

So chalk of 400 or more visits to the store by just one person - who spend just one time 10 cents to remove the advertising from just one myradar program.

The Microsoft Marketing Machine have again come up with another deceptive statistic to show success.

Just like Windows 10's deceitful "X million devices installed" hides the reality of Windows 10's dismal market share, "X billion visitors" says nothing about number of sales or $ spent.

Readers should conclude from this deceptive marketing that the Windows Store is yet another failure.

2.5 Billion people wanted to see the dire wasteland that is the Windows Store.....

I once spent 10 minutes on there with some poor soul who installed Windows 8 about a year ago

and needed therapy afterwards, fricking awful experience, almost all web wrapper apps
