vissha
Yahoo Mail for Android Updated with Gmail Support, Many Improvements The app allows users to connect multiple Gmail accounts Quote Yahoo has finally decided that it would be a good idea to add Gmail support to its email application on Android devices. This is quite an important policy change as Yahoo has just enabled free access to its customers to one of its fiercest rivals, Google. Many companies offer support for all major email services, but Yahoo did not think this was something that its customers would want, or perhaps they did not want to add Gmail among the supported services. Well, with the latest version of Yahoo Mail, Android users will be able to add their Gmail accounts and manage them through Yahoo's application. Yahoo re-released its Mail application back in October, and many users find it “slick,” “speedy” and “elegant,” developers claim. That version of Yahoo Mail came with support for multiple mailbox management for Outlook.com, Hotmail and AOL Mail. As developers admit, the ability to connect a Gmail and Google Apps account to Yahoo Mail was missing from the list. It appears that users were pretty vocal about that since Yahoo has decided to introduce support for Gmail account to Yahoo Mail. The new feature is available within Yahoo Mail globally beginning today in the Yahoo Mail application and on the desktop browser. Some TalkBack tweaks and improvements have been added too Aside from that, the new update also brings some TalkBack accessibility improvements and many under-the-hood performance enhancements. Also, Yahoo Mail users will now be able to select all messages in a specific folder on their devices by simply tapping on the select all icons in the upper-left corner when moving or deleting multiple messages. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up. Source
