Microsoft can disable pirated games on Windows 10

Microsoft has just made it even harder to use pirated games and unauthorized hardware in conjunction with Windows 10.

A clause in the services agreement, Section 7b to be precise, states that Windows 10 users have to allow Microsoft to automatically check for counterfeited software, however, it falls short of proposing any punishment for breaking the rules, according to Alphr.

"We may automatically check your version of the software and download software updates or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing the Services, playing counterfeit games, or using unauthorised hardware peripheral devices," reads the agreement.

It means Microsoft can automatically detect when counterfeit versions of Office, Adobe Creative Suite and others are being used before disabling them. It would also seem that hacked hardware can also be blocked by Windows 10.

Get rid of pirate games now!

The agreement covers various different versions of Windows 10 including those used on PCs, smartphones, the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Therefore, now is the time to start hiding your pirate games and software before Microsoft takes them away!

Prospective Windows 10 users can, of course, upgrade to the new OS on any qualifying machine even if it once had a pirated version of Windows 7 or Windows 8 on it although you do have to pay for the privilege.

relax all:

It’s not clear what “unauthorized hardware peripheral devices” refers to, but “counterfeit games” means any first-party Microsoft published game. The service agreement wouldn’t cover Steam games or any other third-party desktop software, so there’s no reason to think they know about that illicit copy of Adobe Photoshop you’re harboring. The information is interesting amid other privacy concerns related to Windows 10, however.

and ms games are :/

Nobody is holding you at gunpoint to upgrade or install Windows 10. If you are stupid enough to install it you deserve everything Microsoft is going to collect, share, delete, or block.

Microsoft didn't say nothing about the TPB

This article here was what stated the whole Hype

http://www.pcauthority.com.au/News/407894,microsoft-can-disable-your-pirated-games-and-illegal-hardware.aspx

What Microsoft said was

7. Updates to the Services or Software, and Changes to These Terms.

b. Sometimes you’ll need software updates to keep using the Services. We may automatically check your version of the software and download software updates or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing the Services, playing counterfeit games, or using unauthorized hardware peripheral devices. You may also be required to update the software to continue using the Services. Such updates are subject to these Terms unless other terms accompany the updates, in which case, those other terms apply. Microsoft isn’t obligated to make any updates available and we don’t guarantee that we will support the version of the system for which you licensed the software.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement/

Its got to do with updates it could be even windows updates if you scan you're computer and figure out your using pirate windows they can disable updates and revoke you .

You can't stick forever to Windows 7. it has it's cons too. so better start learning how to solve this problem. you can install Windows 10, use Kaspersky Internet security 2016 to block the whole Microsoft programs (just with 4 clicks) and use Windows 10 even safer than Windows XP. use a proxy to give internet access only to certain apps (e.g chrome.exe). Windows 10 is definitely more beautiful than Win7 or Win8.1 so to use it with the same security level as previous Windows versions you need to spend some time to configure it. photo-60535.gif?_r=1437039808

Yeah you're right, but it got more aggressive in Windows 10. actually now I understand why Microsoft opened its Store along with other previously blocked apps for Iran. that Indian Nadella has some thoughts in his mind

I don't understand one thing about Windows 8.1 or 10's behavior. when i block all programs from Microsoft company in KIS 2016, Windows completely loses its internet connectivity and nothing gets in or out from any other programs or services. even when I block all of them but let "Host process for Windows tasks" and "host process for Windows services" I still get no Internet at all. do you know which .exes have the responsibility for a basic Internet connectivity? (e.g. an internet connection for chrome.exe only)

If its not on that list its not covered by Microsoft . The only difference is in windows 7 a whole lot of that stuff dont exist but a lot of stuff exist in 8.1 . I dont use M$ software or games unless i have a key or its free so im sure not going to be using a cracked version

Most stuff other than windows that M$ makes you couldn't give it too me . I use other brands .
