[Android] How to Disable WhatsApp Call Feature?

Hi All,

We already knew about WhatsApp Call feature. However, I'd like to know if there is any workaround / hidden option to disable the call feature?

Reason:
We recently came to know that Facebook tracks other users who doesn't have account on Facebook. This has become a serious violation of anyone's privacy.

Few weeks earlier, Facebook told it'll not allow third-party to WhatsApp. So, there is something phishy around there which is affecting privacy.

So, I'd suggest best not to use call feature on the same chat app. If someone uses both chat and call on same app which is owned by a giant who frequently violates user's privacy, we'll surely become one of the victims. I meant that each and every personal things which you share will be tracked by those perverts[Facebook and WhatsApp].

All Nsaners, if you knew of a workaround for both un-rooted and rooted android smartphones, please share it. If not, please find it.

If anything, the only way to do this, would be using an xposed module & an modified whatsapp apk, which requires your phone to be rooted.

In all honesty, if you're that concerned about the privacy of this app, why not uninstall, and try another free voice / sms app like Bria, Viber for a few examples. Ironically, you dislike Whatsapp spying on your data, not just voice I may add, yet you use an Android OS, released by a google (A company who makes money selling it's customers data.)

I'm not having a go, I'm an android fan myself, running a custom lolipop 5.02 rom with Xposed and a modded Whatsapp fork from rafalense's initial concept, I just think your being a little naive to think Whatsapp is the only app on your phone collecting / selling data. If you truely want the best experience out of your Android device, root it, install lucky patcher & Xposed module, you can lock it down as much as you like then, block incoming / outgoig connections using a firewall, you can strip tracking ads out of most applications and still retain functionality using lucky patcher, and Xposed adds a further layer of options, too many too list here.
