Answer of CyberGhost : spy

Hello,

That window is a small test from our side that we will be conducting for a very brief period.

The purpose of this test is to know on which area to improve our services to you. By choosing one of the options (wi-fi protection, incognito browsing, unblock restricted content etc.) you will let us know which of these aspects are more important to you. That way, we can prioritize the most important improvements of your Cyberghost Experience.

This test is of course anonymous and carries with it no personal information whatsoever. If you do not wish to help us improve your Cyberghost experience, simply click on "Custom VPN Settings". Please note that in doing so, we will not know how you wish Cyberghost to be further improved for your enjoyment.

Please let me know if there are any other topics I can assist you with.

Good European countries for VPN

  • Bulgaria
  • Cyprus
  • Czech Republic (for now)
  • Iceland
  • Luxembourg
  • Netherlands
  • Romania
  • Serbia
  • Sweden
Countries which have not implemented the DRD

Belgium – the DRD remains highly contentious, and has not been implemented (yet). However, Belgium does have strict laws (especially targeted at copyright infringement) and some internet censorship.

Cyprus – in February 2011 the Cyprus High Court ruled the DRD unconstitutional. There is however some very limited implementation of it, but with only a 6 months data retention period, in which data can only be accessed ‘in cases of convicted and unconvicted prisoners and business correspondence and communication of bankrupts during the bankruptcy administration’.

Czech Republic – in July 2012 the DRD was rejected by the High Court on the basis that it was unconstitutional and that it infringed on people’s right to privacy. However, a new data retention law was passed in July 2012, and only awaits the President’s signature before becoming law.

Germany – constitutional challenges have stalled implementation of the directive, although it has been ruled by the courts that the DRD could be acceptable if amended. In April 2012 the EU Commission warned against this however, and threatened to fine Germany if the DRD is not fully brought into law. It should be noted that although the DRD has not yet been implemented, internet surveillance and server raids are common in Germany.

Countries where the DRD does not apply to VPN

Most of the following countries resisted the DRD, often faced putting up stiff opposition on constitutional grounds. Although they have now brought into alignment with the directive, implementation is generally less than enthusiastic, and VPN providers are excluded from the legislation:

Bulgaria, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Romania and Sweden.

The DRD is also not applicable VPN providers in France and Italy, but these countries have other internet surveillance issues and strongly enforced copyright enforcement laws.

Non EU European Countries

Iceland and Serbia are not subject to the DRD but have adopted their own data retention policies. However (as far as we understand it), these do not apply to VPN services.

Other data logging, internet surveillance and copyright laws in Europe

In addition to the European Union’s Data Retention Directive, most counties have their own legislation regarding logging, on-line spying and anti-piracy, exploration of which is far beyond the scope of this article. To give an idea just how complex the picture is, and to what extent law-abiding citizens civil liberties are under attack, you may wish to look at our in depth article onData Retention in the UK, which paints a truly chilling picture.

Source little old 1 year.

Opera 30 browser fail the WebRTC test with "Zenmate VPN extension".

I don't think.

But Opera is chromium based

Try

https://github.com/CODYQX4/WebRTC-Multiple-Routes

Or

https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases

Or ad

adapt folder to Opera

1) Go to chrome://version/, find the directory listed in "Profile Path"

2) Close all instances of Chrome. This is *important* because Chrome regularly updates the Preferences file while Chrome is running, and you need that file to be in a static state in order for changes to stick (and to avoid possible file corruption).

3) Use your OS's file manager to navigate to the Profile Path

4) Copy your existing Preferences file (in case something goes wrong during editing)

5) Open the Preferences file for editing

6) At the bottom of the file, before the final closing bracket, make these two changes:

6a) add a comma to the last existing entry

6b) add

"webrtc": {

"multiple_routes_enabled": false

}

For example, the last few lines of my Preferences now look like:

"translate_whitelists": {

},

"webrtc": {

"multiple_routes_enabled": false

}

}

7) Save the changes to Preferences and reopen Chrome

8a) If you immediately see an error about profile corruption, close Chrome, restore your Preferences from backup, and edit that file again. In my experience, the Preferences file seems sensitive to the presence/absence of commas. (Please don't put complaints about Preferences parsing in this bug)

8b) If you don't see an error about profile corruption, then you're good to go. Proceed with any relevant IP address tests.

Edit zenmate is bad.

Try this check pm

If nothing works with Opera try Slimjet have Option to block webrtc leak

@snf

i tryed the edit of preferences file, then i make a test with VPN on here https://diafygi.github.io/webrtc-ips/

my "Your local IP addresses:" is hidden, nothing here
my "Your public IP addresses:" there is my real public IP
i'm exposed or not?

It's because Opera is based on Chromium old version.

Not 42 and all what you give works for 42 and after.

Try ublock or the other extension.

If not working Slimjet is chromium based browser to just cosmetic change with Opera.

Fot test here is better https://ipleak.net/

I use F-Secure Freedome. At the moment, it could not be used with a torrent client, but... I don't care.

Also, my web surfing speed is less affected by this program, than other VPN programs.

Despite of all votes trended to CyberGhost, my proposal is to give it a chance, you too!

can u provide me any key tried http://freetexthost.com/bstcdncvhj(not working)
