jalaffa
Total Uninstall is a complete uninstaller which include two working modes: - "Installed programs" module analyze existing installations and create a log with installation changes. It is able to uninstall applications even without the help of supplied Add/Remove program. - "Monitored programs" module helps to monitor any changes made to your system during the installation of a new application. It allows you to perform a complete uninstall without having to rely on the supplied Add/Remove program which can leave files or changes behind.Download
stylemessiah
I know youre going to hate me, but im going to debunk yet another common family of software that people install. Its almost in the same family as my pet hate, the "speedup", "registry cleaner" and "driver updater" software that keeps routinely keeping posted on here, and shouldnt be. Heres why i dont use "uninstallers" Because they dont uninstall everything as they claim Calling your product Total Uninstall is perhaps the most misleading name of all for this type of software. Ill say this slowly for you: theres NO software of this type that can "completely" remove another bit of software. its just not possible. Even programs like thsi or Revo, another common one posted on here, cannot uninstall programs "completely", even with their monitored mode. Why? because while it may detect reg keys and files created the moment you install the product, programs create reg keys and files during the entire time you use them. For any of tese "uninstallers" to live up to their claims, you would have to keep the monitored install mode of them on and tracking changes for the life of the software you were installing. Apply logic, it makes life easier. So do i use one? No...see above. I use the plain old boring uninstaller that comes with the software. If i want to get really anal and remove every bit of a program, ill do that manually...but ive usually got far better things to do. the only time ill go manual is if theres a driver or service associated with the software im uninstallign and the uninstall routine hasnt removed it properly. So, as my mantra goes, stop installing 3rd party apps that make false claims, take up disk space, interrupt your life and add no features This has been another message from The Centre For Applying A Few Brain Cells

Even professionals that work on computers and are very good at tracking registry changes use apps like these. Many times this program has got me out of a jam when testing something and after testing other uninstallers using and old version of total uninstall out preforms newer versions of its competitors. The part you have got right no app is really total uninstall I'm sure all misses something at times but almost any of them are better than built in windows uninstaller. Also If you use your brain you would not trust it to uninstall everything. Some stuff have there own 3rd party uninstallers like Antivirus I suggest you use those. And I don't even trust 3 party uninstallers to uninstall drivers really . AMD had there own 3 party uninstaller that became a nightmare to windows 8 users .Really these type programs are not for noobs , you need to know there limitations . As far as installing uninstallers most you dont have too anymore . I have Revo Uninstaller Pro Portable and IObit Uninstaller Portable. The Best way to keep a clean system is only install stuff that don't work right as portable . And use portables for what does work right. As far as using Total Uninstall unless you buy it the developer don't want want using his software no way . And he proves this with each new version that comes out thats there's no fix for. november_ra1n
It is quick reminder specially new register user and people who missed there is perfectly working latest portable version TUPortable_6.3.4.100_32bit_64bit_Multilingual.paf.exe by Fuken Gruven.i have been using this version perfectly till now without any trouble it is not the latest but close..However if you have tried to activate TU in the past and your key has been block for some reason try to clean your system before using portable edition above. Thanks to Fuken once again providing this portable software where you do not to block with firewall just run as it is.The solutions is: try clean your system:1. Download TrashReg.2. Scan you system.. and delete any CLSID / WinLicense 1.x keys found. If your OS is x64, scan the x64bit branch also.3. Delete "C:\Windows\Q439033.log" if it exists (or a similar name).4. Search & Delete (if exist):- folder -> %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Martau- folder -> C:\Program Files\Total Uninstall 6- folder -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Total Uninstall
steven36
The person who requested that patch told me it don't work right on x64 on v6.4.1 , JW said he may try again one day. Also at Fuken's site they say it don't work right for v6.4.1 , Fuken's portable have a bug in it when I try to uninstall stuff that require reboot it becomes undone. The installed version don't have this bug.To use the portable I have to make a snapshot then uninstall the program with windows uninstaller reboot then uninstall the leftovers from the snapshot . Then it works OK. PAF portables never work correct for stuff that require reboot most of the time because there self contained in the portable folder .
