if UltraISO is such an amazing tool then how can I use it to recover files from a heavily damaged cd /dvd? Or how do I recover deleted files from harddisks, sd cards etc......Does UltraISO even let me open virtual disks or recover lost photos direct from a digital camera? It has many more handy features.

I like UltraISO myself but comparing it to Isobuster really does make you look pretty silly but I expect nothing less on nsane.

Those are "innocuous" update checks; the serial is already blacklisted internally. But of course, you can still believe what you want, that's what Peter is pursuing after all. ;)

Is there any way to block it from Internet by adding some lines to "host" file? If so please tell me those lines.

And why would you wanna do that? There are some blindfolded people that even not knowing/liking the program, swear it is still working with (long time ago) blacklisted keys, crappy patches or even nutty workarounds. If you consider blocking the program would be useful anyway, you can always ask to some of the "experienced" dudes over here, which have such kind of beliefs as well; after all, they are way smarter than crackers like Ice, Brainrain, program's users like me, and even the very same Peter Van Hove, altogether. ;)
