Airline’s flight planners, air traffic controllers and ultimately the pilots decide the route they'll use..Normally agencies like the ICAO and carriers aviation authorities give directives rather than enforcements on routes. In this case it would have been Malaysian Airlines and Kiev that allowed this flight path..MA did ask for a minimum of 35,000ft to fly over eastern Ukraine but were instructed to fly at 33,000ft...And it was believed that the height was well above any weapons the militia had in their possession. Men, Women and Children who had Nothing to do with the War have been sent to their Untimely Deaths in the Most Horrible Fashion !!! All for what????? Even as we speak, Countless others are Loosing their Lives in the Middle East and other Hot Spots Around the World Every day and the Majority who gets Killed are Innocent Civilians !!! How long will Innocent People continue to Die because of Politics and Power ?? These Innocent Victims could be Any one of us or our Families, so Lets just think about that for a Moment ... I am Deeply Saddened by these Atrocities and i wish to send my Deepest Condolence to All the Families who have Lost Loved ones in this Unfortunate Incident. I Pray God grants them the Fortitude and Strength to Bear their Loose and at Least be able to get Back the Dead Bodies of their Family Members so that they can Give them a Proper Burial with some form of Dignity for the Sake of Closure.. Finally, the Blame Game of who did what, Sanctions, Slaps on the Wrist, Fines or Even Prison for the Real Perpetrators of this Horrendous Crimes Can Not and Will Not be Able to Bring Back the Dead People back to Life !!! One would not be wrong to make the Assumption that Humans are becoming Lesser than Animals in their behavior and they do not Respect the Sanctity of Life !! Come to think of it - Wild Animals Kill to Live (as for food ) but Humans now Live to Kill !!! What a Pity ... The rebels colected the bodies to send them to a refrigerator and clearly stated that they won't be sent elswhere. They took the bodies because most of them fell on people's roofs, garden etc. In fact people started to help the so called "rebels" to colect the bodies and sent them to a facility where are refreigerators. Also the" rebels" collected the black box, and stated clearly that they will release the black box when the Examination Board will arive there.I don't recommend users to look at this video if they aren't over 18, it's very graphically. Were you there to see what happened? It's what the Airline companie released just after the incident. It might have been shot down, but for now there aren't any clean proofs. So facts are facts and rumors are rumors.On the other hand, is just like I thought, just now the Ukrainian gov is forcing its way in the city with tanks. And as I heard at the news, some pro Russians tanks are heading there aswell to defend their city.Why don't they split the country in 2, God knows, too many incocent people died because their right to vote is taken away by the Ukrainian gov. After the pro Russians have resisted, now Ukraine and US are blaming Russia because the International Civil Aviation Organization is not being able to reach the crash zone.Well of course they can't. Why would Ukraine decided to go all in with tanks just when the International Civil Aviation Organization arrived.
