I want you to perform the following steps:--

• Shut down IDM (ensure that it is not hiding within the Notification Area of the System Tray)
• Delete all existing IDM related rules from your Outpost security Suite
• Add those 24 IPs to the IP Blocklist Outpost security Suite (Agnitum have allotted it a heavier priority so, it overrules your rules - sorry for the pun.)
• Reboot
• Run IDM
• Register IDM
• Report back
• Phew

can u just start from scratch, absolutely blank ?

uninstall IDM

after uninstallation, run the .reg file provided here : //www.nsaneforums.com/topic/224427-removal-of-cracked-copy-of-internet-download-manager/?do=findComment&comment=810781

restart PC,install IDM(close it if its open,check tray)

make sure ur rules are in place now

now open IDM and proceed with registration

if u did this correctly,ur IDM shud be registered

otherwise, either there is problem in ur rule set or something else(security program) is overpowering ur Outpost Security Suite :)

After I done windows updates I got a fake serial , I uninstalled with TU and cleaned the trial key from the registry . IDM will register but every time I get a fake serial and its not even internet related because checking with a sniffer shows nothing . Seems there's another check somewhere

There's nothing getting trough I was watching it when registering even got a popup about it could not connect the internet before i reset the trial
