NEW Blocking Rules For AdGuard (for my personal use only — sharing them here, but not suggesting that others should also use them.) You'll need a firewall that's capable of blocking hostnames — if not firewall then some program possessing that capability such as Simple DnsCrypt or Acrylic DNS Proxy. AdGuard is itself quite effective at blocking hostnames, domains and IPs — unfortunately, AdGuard is hard-coded against blocking itself. In a worse-come-worse scenario where you don't have a firewall or any program with hostname-blocking capabilities you could (as a last resort) use the hosts file (something which I personally don't recommend, at all.)
