dcs18
For me, the (internet speed) benefit of Acrylic DNS Proxy was quite insignificant and secondary to the traffic encryption benefit delivered by Simple DNSCrypt — would've surely pursued Acrylic DNS Proxy, had it not interfered with my primary benefit. This is what I'm saying because simple dncrypt doesn't support migration to another port than the default one, the combo doesn't work and that's why the interference. Use the dnscrypt-proxy cmd line version if you want to pair it up with Acrylic. Otherwsie, the combo never really did work with Simple DNSCrypt. You can't combine simple dnscrypt with acrylic. Undertaker
It's the origianl project and the dev is the maintainer of the list, the same which is used by SimpleDNSCrypt. So, if not more be rest assured it won't be less than what you presently have. Since SimpleDNSCrypt uses the same author's lists.

When the Encrypted Google tutorial was created, its unique advantage was that it would not disclose the referrer on the URLs of Google searches. However, Google has now extended this advantage to all it's other domains — I've persisted with the Encrypted Google for the convenience of ad. blocking.
