Instead, the South Korean company presented the Exynos 5422 Octa and Exynos 5260 Hexa SoCs, which are impressive on their own, but still use the 32-bit ARMv7 architecture. Nevertheless, the first 64-bit processor made by Samsung will likely be introduced this year, according to CNET. Kyushik Hong, VP of marketing for Samsung's system LSI business, told CNET that "64-bit is very important - in the sense that there's a real demand, whether you need it or not." The exec concluded that Samsung is “very actively working on” developing its first 64-bit processor (we're guessing that this will be included in the Exynos family). Although Qualcomm, Intel, Nvidia, Marvell, and even MediaTek have already announced 64-bit processors, Samsung is not worried. Its 64-bit chip “will be ready whenever the operating systems and ecosystem go 64-bit,” reportedly declared Kyushik Hong. In other words, Samsung is still waiting for Google to optimize Android for full 64-bit support. Last year, Apple introduced its own 64-bit ARMv8 processor, the A7, which powers the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air and the iPad Mini 2 - these are the world's first commercially available mobile devices that come with 64-bit processors. They want to do everything. Soon you will hear Scamsung has released their own Desktop Operation System. :PScamsung Electronic Cars, Scamsung TV's (Internet base) and the rest... I pity their developers and engineers. Look at a list of manufacturers who has released 64-bit processors, why dont you (Scamsung) sign a deal with any of them, so they can provide for you to use for your devices? :( :( :( No SCAMSUNG wont do that...
