majithia23
I keep hearing that norton has finally "fixed" all it's issues that made users complain about it...is this true or just more propaganda form Norton???? no propaganda , its a fact ...! Norton has indeed improved tremendously over its predecessor versions , be it in terms of protection levels or usage of system resources . and is no doubt indeed one of the best today ...! ;) ( ps - not a norton user , Eset Nod 32 here , but did try it for testing purpose ... :) )

mrsmith
I use no real time protection...I use virtualization and isolation. If I have to I upld to VT.com for analysis. I scan my system once a month with 4 different "on demand" programs. I have not had a virus since I "smartened up" so to speak.

dcs18
ESET NOD32 EAV v5.0.95.0 with the HIPS disabled. why do you disable HIPS? =\I use the more advanced COMODO HIPS, instead as I find the NOD32 HIPS. Shall perhaps re-enable it if they improve it. ATM, it's too noisy and lacking in options when compared to COMODO.
