All keys can be blocked once reported.

 

Basically the activation amount is seen as alot to a single end user, however if the activation limited has been attained or the administrator of the keys see far more than the amount expected then they can always request the key to be blocked and a new one presentated.

 

Use with a conscience and moderation as these keys were shared to us, and not to be distributed on a wide scale

Hi kantry123

 

Briefly, the difference between AES256 and AES56 is the key length. The longer the key length the stronger the encryption.

 

Use AES256 (strong) encryption, you don't need AES56 which is the lightweight version unless your Country law forbids you to use 256-bit AES encryption.

 

These two versions of the module were developed because of legal issues.

KES is only for Pro/Enterprise or can be installed on Win 10 Home Edition too?

 

I installed KES with Custom Install on my laptop Win 10 64 Home under Shadow Defender. Installed fine without warning/errors.

Seems running fine. Only on threat detection I dont see alerts, any info?

Release notes say that only Pro/Enterprise is supported but KES works great on all editions of Windows.

 

To enable notification/alerts on threat detection check under "Advanced Settings"---> "Interface Settings". Then enable all kinds of alerts you want to.

Got the notification settings under interface option.

 

It is running fine on my Win 10 Home 64 but I was little concerned as Home edition officially not supported. Are you running KES on Win 10 Home edition?

 

I did custom install. I am running KES on only my laptop Win 10 Home. I dont need to install "Network Agent Connector" & "Vulnerability Monitor" for core protection, right? Or they are required for proper functioning of KES?

I have no PCs with Home editions installed. It will work fine as core of the OS is same for all and only features (of Windows) are limited for different editions unless Kaspersky put some code in the installer to check edition and block installs on other editions which they have not.
