i had faced that problem too ; didn't remember exactly how it solved. sorry

but try this ..

Delete all files from " C:\Users\All Users\Kaspersky Lab " except :- 3 folder i.e(AVP14.0.0,SafeBrowser,UCPStorage),and 2 DAT file. DELETE all the remaining files. and restart your computer.

• Reboot the System
• regsvr32 WMIUTILS.DLL

I see, i do not know much about Kaspersky Small Security cause i do not use instruction above for KIS & KAV 2014.

For all Kaspersky products , Simply do that :

Setting < Notification < Setting : then unmark any license notification ( about 4 or 5 boxs )

that doesn't work, if it were that easy nobody would ask for it. there is no "license notification" settings in KAV 2014, probably there isn't in every kaspersky app.

This method works like a charm.

I have tried this already on 4 different PC's with KAV (7x32, 7x64, vistax32).

You need to wait the first 24 hours to receive the first popup, and then just change the key.

If you look for the key after a fresh install you wont see it, manually creating the key also isn't good because after trying the trial reset you don't get an option to activate a free 30 day trial, so just let the software popup once and then edit the key.

PS: If you are looking for Kaspersky manual virus databese updater that is another story well yes there is a tool in Kaspersky development side.

How To Transfer Kaspersky Installed Reg Key From Older Version [Alternative To Key File Activation]

Notice1: As Kaspersky 2014 close the door for Key File Activation i decided to introduce alternative way of using key files on VMware with older version then transfer into Kaspersky 2014. Also this method will backup and reinstall your existing Kaspersky License on any version and any computer you decide to activate.

1. Backup and Reinstall Kaspersky Activation Via Registry Editor [Recommended Way]

Notice2: I strongly recommend this method cause it will give you flexibility to reinstall activation any version and time successfully!

2. Classic Methot [Reinstall Kaspersky over Existing Version]

When you decide this method do not use Kaspersky Product Remover cause that will uninstall key files from registry entry. Just use your Windows Uninstaller or your trusted software.

After uninstall restart your PC and install any Edition of Kaspersky product Including Kaspersky 2014 during new installation Kaspersky should pick up existing license.

Tested Working on Windows 8 Pro 32 bit KIS 2014.

Important Notice Methot will not work if:

1. If you are using any keys has already blocked or number of activation has been exceeded.

2. If you are trying to transfer transfer not compatible keys on the version. [For example KIS 2009 not compatible 2014 but it is compatible with 2013. the key will work on 2013 but you can not transfer on 2014!]

Does this method really work??? I tried this method on my Windows Xp 32 bit and then Try to transfer the 2 Reg file to my Windows 8.1 64 bit. But It did't work. I had the same Trail days left as it before. I follow the same method & check thrice. But It does't work.
