Dooohhh
OSX...one thing that hasn't been on my hdd. Yet.Even though I don't use "macs", I think it would be cool to know what p2p options mac users have now besides Limewire.Well there are pleny of options :) Cabos (also gnutella (there are lots of gnutellaclients!!)), Transmission (Torrent) (there are olso other clients).. overall you wont miss enything when switching from pc to mac!!For burning use LiquidCD, it's the best and its free.. Everything i run on my mac is freeware/opensource (mostly), and it's way more functional that my pc!! Only keeping my pc for making music, since there sadly are way more musicwarez for the pc.. jtmulc
Hello. Longtime lurker, first time poster.I have found this site to be an invaluable resource for news and software for my PC and have long wished there was something similar for my mac. I look forward to seeing the inclusion of Mac software in the future.

pHant0m
I also said yesmac osx is good but discovering apps is hard.Precisely. This is exactly why I voted yes. There are heaps of Mac treasures that I've only noticed after a year of working with the OS. Had a site such as Nsane been there to index the "best of" apps for me, I probably would have found them sooner.I'm in the don't care category. But if you add some, how about an option to choose between windows, mac or both news updates on the frontpage?Nice idea, but that would require us to either use a cookie setting to make it show/not show for you or to ask users to login to the frontpage... I guess a cookie isn't that bad, only thing is it gets deleted after some cleaner did it's job :dance2: It might be nice to have users login on the frontpage as well, but we do need to think of some extra features you guys would get if we'd go about that. Since we're completely redesigning the frontpage(as far as I know ) anything should be possible. Why not set www.nsanedown.com to Windows & Mac, win.nsanedown.com to Windows, and mac.nsanedown.com to Mac? First shows all updates, latter two show specifics for either Windows or Mac. I'm not saying change the navigation and create three different sites (if the Mac software category is going to be it's own link on the side, keep it it's own link on the side).. Just saying use three similar but different main pages. Wouldn't that avoid needing a cookie?

bizzyb0t
Hey! I'm glad this idea is coming along so nicely!(I've been gone awhile ;))I've got some software to share. To the person earlier in the thread saying that many releases don't have serials or fixes with them, that's because they're already patched or [k]'d.
irefay
bizzyb0t- good to see you back... I missed your sig telling me "Fuck You!" lol. I thought thats what the [k] ment but then it always asks me for a serial (I use mechodownload to find stuff) Everything I get software with a serial it works but never the [k]'ed stuff. Do you do anything special with the keyed softz?
bizzyb0t
bizzyb0t- good to see you back... I missed your sig telling me "Fuck You!" lol. I thought thats what the [k] ment but then it always asks me for a serial (I use mechodownload to find stuff) Everything I get software with a serial it works but never the [k]'ed stuff. Do you do anything special with the keyed softz?Well, some [k]'d software you can enter any name and serial, similar to some of the patches for Windows. Heh, some software uses Windows keygens, lol.I've heard of Mechodownload. Lots of those "RS.com" sharing sites have dummies or n00bs that upload uncracked software just to boost their RS points. Mechodownload is a copycat site of ForumW.org. Also, Mechodownload inputs those crappy spam and malware links right into people's posts based on keywords. FW is more active and they have TONS of apps and they don't alter posts to insert craplinks. To avoid the RS waiting crap, download stuff from torrents because as of right now, that's the easiest way to get the software. I think that nsanedown should host the most popular and actively updated apps. Also, hosting the KCNScrew and SerialBox serial and patching program would be a good idea. Toshiro
The thing is.. How many user will use the Mac section? I'll be glad to help out, but how many visitors do you think will come... I Mean.. you'll have to wait a time before people are going to flow in for the mac section. Cause "I think" that there aren't a lot of mac users now at Nsane.. Or i'm just completely wrong :P
