KIS/KAV2013/13.0.0.3370 Release Candidate

This build is the first release candidate.
This means that if the build will not have bugs that are critical for the release (technical and non-commercial!), it will be accepted as a technical release.
Because bugs noticeable, but not critical can be fixed in hot-fixes before the commercial release.
This is info for beginners, old men know what is the RC, what is the TR and hot fixes.

- Windows8 is not supported on this build.
Reason: before the official release Win8 we can not claim support for this OS.
In the near future it's planned to release of a version that does support Win8.
Edit: Product cannot be installed on Win8.

I really like Kaspersky due to its detection, but I had no other choice but to uninstall because it did let me choose allow option while detecting virus or unknown threats like keygen, patch etc. It was keep deleting them..

You need unchecked all the protection you can see in the screenshot before Kaspersky block.

Thanks, but I meant Kaspersky doesn't ask for "Allow" during detection even the Real-time Protection is enabled. Just like Eset or Emsisoft

Kaspersky 2013 Products Will Expand Protection

At the Kaspersky Reviewers Roundup in San Francisco, journalists learned about some significant new security features coming in the 2013 offerings from Kaspersky Lab. Oleg Ishanov, Kaspersky's Director of Anti-Malware Research, explained in detail the new Automatic Exploit Prevention and Safe Money components.

Automatic Exploit Prevention

Ishanov started by listing the steps required for an exploit to succeed: 1) the user opens a malicious file or visits a malicious site; 2) the exploit passes control to malicious shell-code; 3) the shell-code downloads a malware payload; 4) the payload launches; 5) malware is now running on the victim's system.

Kaspersky already handles this problem at several levels. It can block access to malicious sites or quarantine malicious files at step 1. These components can also prevent download and execution of the malicious code in steps 3 and 4. The Host Intrusion Prevention System and real-time antivirus can deal with malware in step 5.

The 2013 product line adds what Ishanov called "forced ASLR" (Address Space Layout Randomization). ASLR is already a feature of MacOS and iOS, and Windows includes a degree of ASLR. Kaspersky's forced ASLR relocates modules in memory, making it tough for the exploit to launch shell-code in step 2. It works even in Windows XP.
Another facet of automatic exploit prevention is a new emphasis on process execution control, preventing the launch of the malware payload at step 4. This feature relies on improved file reputation and domain reputation information. According to Kaspersky's internal testing, this feature blocks 100 percent of exploits based on the BlackHole exploit kit.

Safe Money

Safe Money is Kaspersky's name for a collection of features aimed at making online banking safer. To start, the 2013 products will feature an improved antiphishing engine with a new ability to detect phishing sites by analyzing their content in real time. They'll also guard against fraud by checking the reputation of site certificates.
The feature formerly called Safe Run for Websites is now part of Safe Money. When users browse to a known financial site, Kaspersky will put the browser in high-security mode; users can also choose this mode manually.

Kaspersky has long featured a virtual keyboard, for entering passwords without the chance of interception by a keylogger. The next versions add a secure connection between the keyboard and the browser. A keylogger won't detect what you're typing when this connection is active. To top off this collection of protective features, the product's self-protection has been enhanced. Bad guys won't be able to get their way by disabling protection.

The 2013 editions of Kaspersky Internet Security and Kaspersky Anti-Virus are currently in Release Candidate, with final release expected in August.

If you uncheck `Select action automatically` -> it will ask you if you want to allow / clean / delete the malware .

The problem is , when you uncheck "select action automatically" it also asks you thousands time if ou want this or that to access this or that , even if you say "yes" and "always" it asks....

I use KIS 2012 on 2 computers and is not so chatty ...

It's a real pain to set up KIS firewall...there is no way like Smart security for exemple to tell the firewall "okay ask me just when an app wants to go out and only that".

Then you say yes or no and that's it.

I've tried to make rules for Spotify and it keeps asking me if I want it to connect to this port , or this TCP , even if I said yes and always...

Only way is to let KIS decide itself , or if you know how to do please help me :)

Agreed, I am with you there. I tried the method AlienForce1 is mentioning, but unfortunately it failed. I think because Kaspersky uses HIPS in there AV programme.

Kaspersky 2013 is not final version, build 13.0.1.4088 is quite unstable, some features still might not work properly,

but adding software/application in trusted sector will fix problem.
