Administrator DKT27 Posted May 3, 2012 Administrator Share Posted May 3, 2012 While downloading something (and obviously net-connected) just when IDM likes to call home and get itself unregistered, I've often got screwed in the middle of a download... :wtf: You obviously are having some issues but it's highly unlikely that the patching is to be blamed. I've been using IDM since as far back as I can remember and this has never ever happened to me. And I've downloaded some big files over the years including multiple instances of Windows, Office, Adobe CS, Matlab, 3ds max etc. It did happen. About a year ago. IDM used to show that you are using a fake version just before you completed the download. It was the time when all the fixes stopped working. Then Marik email Unreal Ace or someone for him to make a new one, which was again defeated by IDM, then the fix was again made for newer version. After that, IDM has never done anything special against fixes, only once (that, not as harsh as mentioned above), which I believe was solved by our one and only babelpatcher. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Downloads menu > Options > File types tab > Edit list (button below) > add > add something like *netflix.com* (with stars) > OK > OK > OK. USE WHAT YOU LIKE!!! And the difference is as anuraag said: Following files updated. WEBM is the codec used in Firefox for html5 (don't worry, Firefox will bring back the mp4 for html5 in future). Check your youtube settings and make sure you haven't enabled html5 for every videos.
