Recently i just switch to emsisoft anti-malware, and i see lot of detection and pop-up there. Really annoying sometimes.

ESET Smart Security 5.. its light weight and fast for my 1gb ram system.

Using NOD32 AV since 2006, lately changed to NOD32 Smart Security and I'm not planning on changing it to anything else :)

Norton. And it's internet security version 2012 together with babels medicine (the latest 1.7b gives me 90 days every reset and it works well enough for me :)

I changed my vote from Avira to Kaspersky, after it completely failed to catch some nasty garbage that really did a number on my registry. All Avira Free settings were set to the maximum possible security available and missed it. Installed ZoneAlarm Free AV + FW (uses the Kaspersky AV engine) and it caught it with default settings. I take back all of my Avira recommendations, lol.
