eBait Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 I am on Vista here. Even my laptop (MSI Wind) runs it fine in stock. You *do* have to tweak Vista a lot more then XP (<3), but when you are past that part I love the stability XP lacks so much (for me that is). On my main machine I am running Vista64, which I love, and it is reaaly fast (more due to my pc ^^). The ATI driver was crashing my XP so I had to switch to Vista w/ SP1. Now I am so so so glad that I did. My PC is super fast. Booting is significantly faster. TweakGuides Ya ur rite XP-64 really has some serious bugs in it as my m/c use to gimme blue screens many times also vista is pretty much stable than it and according to me vista is pretty much good for the latest h/w and xp still rocks on the old machines. I ever get a big enough hard drive I need to go with XP and 7..but then I want to find a way to do Snow Leopard and.. Mandriva or the most powerful.. highest rated Linux version..
