uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. With uTorrent, you can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, uTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.

Thanks to a2z for the update.

Note: The changelog is available and is now posted on frontpage.

And nope, it's not a promo only release. :)

How do I prevent the installation of additional software, that is bundled with this version of uTorrent? Thank you for the advice.

During the installation, it will ask you to install bing toolbar, change your homepage, etc. On that page, uncheck/de-select all the three boxes. :)

I don't remember if I asked this in the past but in terms of benefits, is there really any actual need to us the 64-bit Version of uTorrent over the 32-bit?

Only difference I can see is x64 is installed into a different folder. That's it.
