Windows Live Messenger, Flash Player Required?

After a clean OS install I sufferd from popups after installing WLM asking for me to install flash player.

These popups are annoying. Knowing that i wasnt infected by anything I googled & found some answers.

"To send or receive Windows Live Messenger content, you need a newer version of Adobe Flash Player. Once Adobe Flash Player has been installed, you may need to exit and restart Windows Live Messenger. "

The way I installed Flash Player was through "Firefox".

Windows Live Messenger needs the Internet Explorer version of Flash Player, not the Firefox/Chrome/Safari/Opera version. So you need to install it using Internet Explorer.

Quick And Simple. No more popups on WLM loging in or trying to speak to people.

Removed Flash With

Installed flash player through IE Instead of Firefox.

Adobe Flash Player distributable:

For IE: http://fpdownload.ma...h_player_ax.exe

For FF: http://fpdownload.ma...lash_player.exe

Adobe Flash Player uninstaller (any version): http://fpdownload.ma...lash_player.exe

Please make sure you always use those links to get always the updated Flash Player. The links provide you always the current distributables. No need to install them in browsers, just download and install.
