And disable Firefox integration, since FlashGot extension makes it better. ----------------------------------------------For those, who prefer editing hosts file i made 2 automatic solutions, but since i am not able to test them working properly i would like to have somebody to tell me, if they are working and which entries are working.Who would like to test them?I simply need a small report which solution is working and what entries are working. Olexijl Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 I am now discussing about my automatic solutions with somebody.I never thought i need to say that guys: if you are updating your hosts file then you need to reboot to make changes working. And never use any "check for updates" features otherwise an unpatched IDM would give you the "fake serial" back!!Only a small number of people here can do anything: they have IDM purchased just like me. I can autoupdate without any probs and i never use any patch. Thats the reason for me not to be able to test my solutions for hosts file, so i need help.PS: I know, most of you know such things i wrote already. But some people believe that after modifying hosts everything should work IMMEDIATELY! No, it should not, you have to reboot. And do not blame me if it fails working immediately.
