It's not in their homepage yet, but it seems it's final.

Update: Their homepage shows now TuneUp 2008, but in German. :)

Update 2: It shows in English now.

Always been a fan of TuneUp Utilities.

Edit~

30 days arghhhhhhhh lol! all previous keys blacklisted or don't work at all :(

nothing really changed

Just gone vista style! "menus/parts" spread into single sections.

The scans are alot faster.

Just curious, as I noticed big changes to the program compared to 2k7. And I just ran a Defrag on the HD's I have and it did take quite some time to complete. In comparison to UltimateDefrag, would one prefer UDefrag over TuneUp U.'s Defrag? Or could I just uninstall UDefrag and use TuneUp's.

^Same applies for the Uninstaller, as I currently use, Your Uninstaller 2k8

---

I know it is on User Preference, but though I'd throw it out to get some opinions.

Thanks.

If some haven't noticed, yeah I prefer a 'Suite' sort of program over using multiple, although it is true in some cases it is bad to do that ><

All of you have 30 days, the solution will be on the proxy very soon.

Cool.

I forgot that it's this time of the year again. :) They have a selective Defrag prog now? Like UltimateDefrag?

This is the 2nd time in 2 days that you posted keygens/etc... I consider this the last unconventional warning.

This program works well, made my vista more responsive. I'm blind and vista is slow as shit. I'd probably die by now if I didn't have my xp machine.

Does this actually optimize the internet?

Yes it does, but you your self don't see much improvement.

If you want your Internet faster upgrade your ISP

Description needs amending. Currently states "2007".

I've downloaded it but haven't installed yet. Supposed to run quicker though.

If i had to chose i would certainly go for Ultimatedefrag, because of it's advanced methods of file placement. I personally use it to place my movies, windows install folder, service pack uninstallers, and other not frequently used data to the inner tracks and place stuff like windows and program files to the inner tracks. If you do not use any of these and just want defragged files, then TuneUp's will do(but slower as you said). For the uninstaller utility i really wouldn't know... Never used Your Uninstaller but i guess u were right in the last part, a suite might be a bad choice in some cases.

Another note about ultimatedefrag, it's worth reading the manual included. Has some really handy tips and ideas on how to put your hard drive together(the files on it). It also makes you understand how a hard drive works a lil bit more if you don't know much about it.

Ive only taken a brief look at it, but my first opinion is that its followed the vista train of thought. (lots of sparkles, with limited function) I seriously doubt that they have made vast improvements to anything on the xp side. Its very easy to improve a new (some may say unrefined) product like vista (well new compared to xp). Its much more difficult to continuously improve a tested platform like xp. So for vista users, this will probably be a very useful upgrade. Unfortunately, from what I have been reading and from my own experiences, the new features that vista offers are far overshadowed by its idiosyncrasies and taxation on the bare bone systems that vista often comes preloaded on.

Ill check it out more completely in the next few days comparing its defragmentor with the windows default and some other competitors.

Its registry optimizer, and whatever other features that it seems like I can make solid comparisons with.

Well, as far as I am concerned the defragmenter uses the diskeeper (or something simular (windows api)) and it finds my hdd's in already good condition. This is because Diskeeper always keeps em defrag'd at the background... so can't comment on that. Furthermore the regcleaner already was good, and sure they have tweaked it a bit. No complaints of the prog getting "vistaized" because it didnt make the software heavier for your pc. I think Tuneup did a pretty good job.
