If any of them is causing the problem, you should make an exception rule for the mess.When I download 8.1 It tell me some dll files are missing but it still works. I turned off my firewall this moning and download 9.0 Still get the same message. Wrong user name and password and tell me to try again.. So I don't know what to do. toyo Posted December 21, 2007 Author Share Posted December 21, 2007 yui.dll should be a file in the instalation directory. very strange that it is missing. all working 100% on my system and on 3 of my friends who have same version. still, is a Beta, and thus anything is possible.In such cases, I find the routine of uninstalling, thoroughly cleaning after uninstall - registry and folders - and then reboot - reinstall very useful. Keeping the computer clean will save you many hours of despair.Also besides the yui.dll error I got one other one kdu_v32r.dll as well-One of the problem I have that this is not my computer and we are unable to remove files for the computer. That I dont know how to fix either. Tried do download 9.0 again. Download went fine. No error messages or anything. Still would not let me sign in. Tired more than one user name. ROMANTICGUY50 Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 I was able to go into the safe mode(admin mode) and remove the yahoo folder from the compter and reinstall Yahoo messenger 8 with no Dll errors. Then I tried to install 9.0 and still got the error message that it would not let me sign in. One of the problems I have is that this afriends computer andhe has so many differ program on his computer to clean this and that on his computer its crazy. You would be surpriised if I named them all. Eraser programs and a number of other other. I dont even know what they all do.
